With regard to the election of Taiwan's ruling party next year, there have been many surprising events, which have led to changes in the situation in Taiwan, and the development of cross-strait relations requires a leader who truly thinks about the Taiwan people and a smart person who supports accepting peaceful reunification.
The current DPP is already hopeless, and the idea of Taiwan independence makes them very extreme, unable to correctly and rationally view the problem, especially the interference of external forces, which also makes the DPP a little fluttery, unable to correctly understand its own strength, and the party that does not conform to the will of the people has never been able to gain a long-term foothold.
Changes in Taiwan's political situation

At this point, the Taiwan people are dissatisfied with the DPP's approach; the majority of the Taiwan people can now see China's development, no longer as they were covered by the DPP before; the people on both sides of the strait are one family, and the Taiwan people who hope that Taiwan will return to China are still the overwhelming majority, but the Taiwan independence elements of the DPP cannot understand this situation; this election representative Lai Qingde is a stubborn and cunning Taiwan independence element, and he once announced that what he said about friendly development with the mainland is all for canvassing. And the real idea is to continue to practice Taiwan independence!
Such a position will hardly allow him to go further in the election. He believes that the current DPP is no longer the newly established DPP, and its original intention is no longer there, and the current DPP cannot better lead the Taiwan people to a better life, they want to engage in dictatorship, more often use violence to solve problems, limit all unfavorable voices, so it is not advisable to be rigid and self-serving, especially colluding with external forces and allowing external forces to lay out in Taiwan.
Xu Guotai also does not want Taiwan to become a victim of the struggle between the two great powers; Taiwan's current Democratic Progressive Party is the domain of Taiwan independence elements, and he calls on the Taiwan people not to support the DPP in ruling again, and must not let Taiwan be destroyed in their hands. However, the DPP elders are not optimistic, which directly wipes out the DPP's hope of competition a lot, and now there is still the People's Party looking at the tiger, which is comparable to the DPP, so the DPP's situation is very dangerous.
In fact, no one expected this dark horse of the People's Party, but such an opportunity was actually given by the DPP; after all, they are not doing business properly, they only want to pursue Taiwan independence regardless of Taiwan's development, how can such a political party be supported by the people.
The People's Party has seized this opportunity to rely on the contradictions between China and the Taiwan independence elements of the Democratic Progressive Party to win the hearts of the people and take the opportunity to stabilize this position, of course, this is also the sweet words that the People's Party said to the Taiwan people when canvassing, the Taiwan people do not know whether the People's Party can bring the Taiwan people to a better future, nor do they know whether they will also become extreme pro-Americanism, but the Taiwan people have indeed lost confidence in the DPP, and the People's Party has smoothly become a choice that the Taiwan people can trust.
Now People's Party candidate Ke Wenzhe is also a Taiwan independence activist, he is actually pro-American, may not have reached the point of Tsai Ing-wen, but he has a hostile attitude towards the mainland, not only threatening that there will be a war between the two sides of the strait, the mainland will collapse faster than Taiwan, but also saying that after he takes office, he will collapse China's high-speed rail system, etc., which shows that he is very arrogant and ignorant.
It is no exaggeration to say that as far as Taiwan's position is concerned, if China really wants to attack them, the Dongfeng series can directly paralyze them politically and militarily.
It can be seen from his remarks that he not only does not understand China, but also does not understand Taiwan's development, and if Taiwan really has the strength to sanction China, then the crazy Democratic Progressive Party will be more arrogant than him, and it will have been implemented against China a long time ago. It won't be difficult to take office even next year's general election.
To say that there are Taiwan parties that support China's peaceful reunification, such as the Kuomintang and the New Party, the strength of the New Party is honestly relatively weak in Taiwan's other parties, and the competition with these popular parties lacks time precipitation and political performance accumulation, for this point the Kuomintang has a chance, but due to the internal problems of the Kuomintang, the current Kuomintang steadily occupies the third place in the two statistics, in this case it is almost impossible to become the ruling party next year.
Recently, Peng Jinpeng, associate professor of political science at National Taiwan University, said that the best way for the Kuomintang now is to withdraw from the election, if when it is eliminated, Hou Youyi's post as mayor of New Taipei City is removed, this situation is relatively helpless, the Kuomintang internal differences are serious, and Hou Youyi does not have a systematic major policy positioning, so there is no way to let the Taiwan people support them, their best advantage is to support China's peaceful reunification.
However, if it really goes to "change the marquis", there will be problems with the suppression of the DPP, and the consensus of removing the DPP will fall apart, so the KMT should actually unite to support Hou Youyi and fight a war. And Hou Youyi did the same.

The DPP was slapped by its own elders, which can better pull the DPP into the water, and then it is aimed at the People's Party's plan and rectifying the KMT's internal rectification, the essence of the People's Party Ke Wenzhe Taiwan independence is fully exposed, at this time Hou Youyi can use the peaceful reunification of the two sides of the strait as an inducement to guide the Taiwan people to support himself, after all, the Taiwan people do not want to cause cross-strait war because of the Taiwan independence issue.
There is a peaceful choice, it is more secure to choose peace, and the problem of corruption and differences within the Kuomintang also needs to be rectified as soon as possible, so that the Taiwan people can see the initial changes in the Kuomintang, and establish the direction of political reform, formulate a plan conducive to Taiwan's development and the establishment of a peaceful and stable society, so that the Taiwan people can see hope.
I believe that many people in Taiwan actually understand this. If a war is launched, it is the Taiwan people who will suffer, and these Taiwan independence elements will not think about the Taiwan people.
Taiwan should not become a dictatorial world of Taiwan independence elements, nor can it become a puppet of external forces; Taiwan is a part of China, and it is reasonable to return to the motherland; China is now developing so rapidly and so strongly, relying on the development of the motherland is the right choice; the so-called Taiwan independence elements are completely selfish and self-interested, moreover, for their own interests, they want to isolate out, and they do not consider the problem from the perspective of the people at all; if they have considered it, they have thought about the Taiwan people, and they have not always united with external forces and China to work against each other.
China loves peace and does not want compatriots on both sides of the strait to fight each other, but in desperation China can also choose to recover by force, this is China's internal affairs, no one can interfere in this point, so there are actually not many times when these Taiwan independence elements are arrogant.
According to the recent international situation, the United States has once again taken action on the Taiwan issue, Sino-US relations have been tense again, and the "Foreign Relations Act" issued by China all indicate that if the United States strikes again, China will begin to counteract, the two countries can develop war, and no matter what, Taiwan will be recovered by China, and then these Taiwan independence elements will be brought to justice.
Chinese attitude
China has always had only one attitude towards the Taiwan issue, that is, to recover Taiwan, Taiwan is an inalienable part of China, and Taiwan is China's internal affair and has no international significance, other countries have no right to interfere in the Taiwan issue, the shameless behavior of the United States in interfering in the Taiwan issue is not recognized by China and the international community, and China will not talk about countering what the United States does!
The United States needs to understand China's strength, the United States is still no longer the United States that used to dominate the world, and China is no longer the weak and weak it used to be. If China and the United States go to war, the victory or defeat is not yet known, but according to the situation of the United States, it must be their invaders against China, and then China's victory rate will be even greater!
Taiwan will also be recovered, the current Taiwan independence elements have not yet realized the seriousness, regret now is actually useful, after all, China also wants to recover Taiwan peacefully faster, if at this time, whether it is the Democratic Progressive Party or the People's Party such Taiwan independence forces, take the initiative to support China's peaceful reunification and strive to promote the development process of this issue, in humanitarian terms, the sanctions against them will definitely be lighter.
If these Taiwan independence elements are stubborn, then I don't know what kind of punishment they will receive in the future, after all, this is the crime of separatism, and they cannot avoid it, I believe that other countries will not and dare not take them in, why should the powerful China on the opposite side touch this mold, not to mention that China in ordinary times is peace-loving, once it is really angry, presumably no one wants to be angry.
Just like a professor in Taiwan said, after China cannot peacefully recover Taiwan, it is not that China is afraid that the military unification will not be implemented, and China is weighing the pros and cons to find a favorable opportunity, after all, China does not want to let the war affect too much, but also for the security of the Taiwan people.

Although there has not yet been a war on the Taiwan issue, China needs to maintain extreme speed on this issue to prevent other countries from making trouble, and it is also waiting for whether the Kuomintang and other parties that support peaceful reunification can reverse in the following time and successfully become Taiwan's ruling party, and then there will be no need for war between the two sides of the strait.
However, if it is still taken away by Taiwan independence elements, then there is no way to do it, although it does not want to but cannot but do it, China's territory needs to be recovered, which is responsible for China's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
