On June 29, 2023, the 2023 International Digital Energy Exhibition opened in Shenzhen. With the theme of "Digital Driven, Can Create the Future", the exhibition focuses on key areas such as new energy, new power system, digital empowerment, international digital energy, and green finance, promotes the docking of knowledge, technology, capital and services, and helps the construction of new power systems and the development of energy storage industry.

Chen Zhifeng said in his speech that with the continuous and substantial optimization of China's energy structure, the acceleration of clean and low-carbon processes, and the trend of digital transformation in the energy field, the demand for digital energy talents has also grown explosively, and the vigorous development of education in Shenzhen has also matched resources and vitality. Launching the implementation of the Shenzhen high-level university construction plan and building the Xili Lake International Science and Education City X9 University and Institute Alliance Platform are conducive to the practicality, intersectionality and comprehensiveness of talent training in our digital field and energy industry, and effectively promote the construction of new disciplines of "new engineering".
Fang Min said in his speech that Shenzhen, as the forefront of reform and opening up, should be supported by scientific and technological progress and innovation, driven by reform and opening up and international cooperation, actively learn from the experience and sharing at the exchange meeting, jointly promote the healthy development of the digital energy industry, and help achieve the goal of China's digital transformation.
