In the sixth year of Marquis Liehou of Zhao (403 BC), Wei, Han, and Zhao were all made princes by Zhou Tianzi. History calls the three branches of the Jin.

In the ninth year of the Reign of The Marquis of Liehou, liehou died, and his younger brother Duke Wu took the throne. Duke Wu died after thirteen years on the throne, and the State of Zhao put Zhao Zhang, the prince of Liehou, on the throne, which was Zhao Jinghou.

In the first year of the reign of Marquis Jing (386 BC), the State of Zhao began to use Handan as its capital.

Ten years after the reign of Emperor Jinghou, the State of Zhao and the State of Zhongshan fought at war in Zhao County.

In the eleventh year of the reign of Marquis Jing (376 BC), Wei, Han, and Zhao jointly destroyed the Jin state and divided its lands. In the twelfth year, Jinghou died, and his son Zhao Zhong took the throne, that is, Zhao Chenghou.

In the sixth year of Chenghou, Zhongshan Guo built the Great Wall. In the sixteenth year, the State of Zhao divided the State of Jin with the States of Korea and Wei. Duanshi County was given to the Jin Dynasty. Twenty-five years later, Chenghou died. The crown prince succeeded to the throne, that is, the Marquis of Zhao.

In the first year of the reign of Marquis Su (349 BC), he seized Duanshi County of the Jin Dynasty and moved the Jin Jun to Tunliu for resettlement. Twenty-four years later, Suhou died, and Suhou's son, King Wuling of Zhao, took the throne.

In the nineteenth year of the Wuling King, HuFu rode and shot. Twenty-one years, attacked the Zhongshan Kingdom. Zhongshan Kingdom sacrificed four cities to seek peace, and the King of Wuling agreed to collect troops and truce. Twenty-three years later, he attacked the Zhongshan Kingdom. In 26 years, he attacked the Zhongshan Kingdom again, seizing lands from Yan and Dai in the north and Yunzhong and Jiuyuan in the west.

Twenty-seven years later, king Wuling passed the throne and established prince Zhao He as king, which was King Huiwen of Zhao. The King of Wuling claimed to be the Father.

King Huiwen spent three years destroying the Zhongshan Kingdom. The land in the north began to belong to the Zhao kingdom, and the road to the Daidi was greatly smooth. The eldest son, Zhao Zhang, was made the Prince of Anyang. Zhao Zhangping was indulgent, and his brother was made king, and he was dissatisfied.

Four years later, courtiers came to worship. The father asked the new king to preside over the worship, and he himself secretly observed the etiquette of the courtiers and royal relatives from the side. Seeing the decadent appearance of his eldest son Zhao Zhang, he instead turned north and bowed down in front of his brother, feeling pity for him in his heart, and wanted to divide the Zhao Kingdom into two and make Zhao Zhang the king of the acting kingdom.

The father and King Huiwen went to the dunes and lived in two palaces. Zhao Zhang rebelled, and gongzi cheng, who was rushed by the capital of the state, countered the rebellion. When Zhao Zhang was defeated, he once fled to the palace of the main father, who took him in. Gongzi Cheng thus surrounded the main father's palace. After Gongzi Zhang's death, Gongzi Cheng consulted with the general and said, "Because of Zhao Zhang's siege of the main father, even if the troops are withdrawn, those of us will also exterminate the clan!" So he continued to surround the main father's palace. The master father wanted to leave the palace but could not come out, and he could not get food, and after more than three months he starved to death in the Dune Palace.

Thirty-three years later, King Huiwen died, and Crown Prince Dan took the throne, which was King Xiaocheng of Zhao.

In the fourth year of King Xiaocheng, the soldiers in the Battle of Changping were defeated, and more than 400,000 Soldiers of the Zhao State were killed.

Twenty years later (246 BC), the Qin dynasty began to take the throne. The Qin army captured Jinyang in the Zhao state.

Twenty-one years later, King Hyocheng died. His son Zhao Yan ascended the throne, which was King Xiang of Zhao.

After nine years of mourning for King Xiang, King Xiang died and was succeeded by his son Zhao Qian, king youmiao of Zhao.

In the seventh year of King Youmiao, the Qin army attacked the State of Zhao, and the King of Zhao surrendered.

After the State of Qin captured Zhao Qian, the fleeing doctors of the State of Zhao jointly supported Zhao Jia as king, and was called king for six years. The State of Qin marched into defeating Zhao Jia and finally completely destroyed the State of Zhao.
