According to the timeline disclosed by Huawei, Huawei Pangu large model will start research and development in 2020; In April 2021, Huawei released the Pangu NLP (Chinese language) model, Pangu vision model, and Pangu scientific computing model. In September 2021, Huawei launched a large model for drug R&D segmentation scenarios. In 2022, Huawei and Energy Group released the Pangu Mine Model, Pangu Meteorological Model, Pangu Wave Model, and Pangu Financial OCR Model.
At present, HUAWEI CLOUD Pangu models have been implemented in fields such as pharmaceutical R&D, electric power, coal mines, meteorology, and minority languages. Last year, HUAWEI CLOUD delivered a large model of 100 billion parameters in Arabic, and the Pangu scientific computing model was also used in weather forecasting and wave prediction.
"At this conference, HUAWEI CLOUD Pangu model will usher in a major upgrade." The relevant person in charge of Huawei told reporters that through continuous research and development, the Pangu model has been upgraded in terms of performance, depth, architecture and data enhancement, and in the process of continuous upgrade, it focuses on improving the performance indicators of the model, and has significantly improved the model training and inference speed.

The trademark structure is purely English. At the same time, the progress of trademark application shows that Huawei has successfully registered a number of "Pangu" and "PANGU" trademarks. Among them, Huawei has applied for the "PANGU" trademark as early as 2019, and the trademark was successfully registered in 2021.
A number of listed companies have cooperated with Pangu Grand Model
In terms of ecosystem construction, a number of listed companies have cooperated with Huawei's Pangu model.
On June 13, Netrumor Jihong signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Huawei Pangu Grand Model. The content of cooperation mainly focuses on cross-border e-commerce, intelligent transformation and upgrading. ”
On June 14, Montnets replied to investors that the company has signed a business cooperation framework agreement with HUAWEI CLOUD Pangu Grand Model, and has not yet generated revenue and profit contributions. Subsequent companies will integrate HUAWEI CLOUD AI messaging products to jointly create intelligent solutions for customers.
Not long ago, Beyondsoft also said that the company has docking with Huawei Pangu and is exploring the application of landing scenarios based on large models. Kelan Software said that in the field of artificial intelligence, the company and domestic mainstream enterprises, such as Baidu (Wen Xin Yiyan), Ali (Tongyi Qianwen), Huawei (Pangu Big Model), jointly promote the application of artificial intelligence in the financial field and create joint solutions.
In addition, Yunding Technology said on the investor interactive platform that it has continuously explored and innovated with Huawei to provide reliable support for intelligent mine construction with AI scenario applications based on the mine Pangu large model technology, and has deployed scene applications in a number of coal mines under Shanneng Group. At present, including mining, intelligent scenarios have been implemented in many fields such as main transportation belts, personnel safety supervision, and intelligent washing. Changshan Beiming was upgraded from a strategic partner of Huawei to an independent software developer partner and a leading cloud partner of Huawei's ISV.
