With scenario-based thinking, GAC disassembled three major scenarios: ground driving, aerial flight and air-ground docking. In the ground scenario, GAC is equipped with the ADiGO PILOT automatic driving system, making the chassis a fully automatic mobile take-off and landing station, flying cars can fly and land, but also move in all directions, and have shared attributes, allowing the flight capsule to be freely paired and replenished at any time. In the aerial scene, GAC adopts 90% lightweight composite materials, equipped with a three-degree flight control system and multi-eye recognition technology, so as to realize the higher and more stable flight of the car. At the same time, aiming at higher standards in the aviation field, GAC uses the leading new energy three-electric system to make the flight greener and more powerful. In terms of air-ground docking, the application of aerospace-grade high-precision docking technology enables the flight capsule to be targeted and accurately docked by the chassis in advance when landing.

In terms of flight safety, GAC has used the MBSE system engineering concept, which is widely used in the aerospace field, to build a flying car R&D system based on model system engineering, ensuring the safety and reliability of the R&D to future mass production. In terms of power, the redundant design of the dual-backup multi-rotor power system allows the flight cabin to calmly complete the set flight mission even if a single power unit is abnormal in the air.

Hydrogen hybrid version E9

The hydrogen hybrid version of the E9 is equipped with a high-torque version of GAC's self-developed 2.0L hydrogen engine + GMC 2.0 electromechanical coupling system. On the basis of retaining the Trumpchi Zhidian New Energy E9 multi-mode drive hybrid system, GAC Research Institute has developed a special combustion system for hydrogen fuel, using medium and high pressure hydrogen direct injection in the cylinder, dedicated high-efficiency intake management system, high compression ratio and knock suppression technology, equipped with Trumpchi Zhidian New Energy E9 measured hydrogen consumption of less than 1.4kg per 100 kilometers, and the vehicle has a range of nearly 600 kilometers. The hydrogen hybrid version of E9 not only represents GAC's technological leap in the "dual carbon" strategy, but also a highly competitive solution for the new energy automobile industry on the road to green and sustainable development.

GAC's self-developed world's first ammonia engine for passenger cars uses liquid ammonia as fuel, precisely controls the phase change process of liquid ammonia fuel supply, makes the engine run smoothly and stably, and uses ultra-high-energy ignition technology to achieve reliable ignition of ammonia fuel in the cylinder, with a power of 120kW and a carbon reduction rate of 90%.

In terms of core "three electric technologies" (battery, electric drive, and electronic control), the GAC Group announced the N-in-1 integrated electric drive system, a product for the A-class pure electric platform.
