It is expected that after the completion of the cold slip test at the end of June, the catenary will be fully powered, followed by live thermal slip and dynamic acceptance. At this point, this will also mean that the opening of the Guangzhou-Shantou high-speed railway is imminent, and it has entered the countdown stage of opening and operation. At the same time, it also shows that the opening of the Guangzhou-Shantou high-speed railway on September 30 has basically been decided.
It is reported that the cold slip test of the catenary of Guangzhou-Shantou high-speed railway is to carry out the taxiing of the pantograph through low, medium and high speeds when the catenary is not electrified, and the state of the catenary is detected to confirm whether the actual parameters meet the design and acceptance standards, and at the same time can prepare for the next Guangzhou-Shantou high-speed railway catenary power transmission and thermal slip test. So far, in order to ensure the successful completion of this cold slip test, the project team actively coordinated and maintained close communication with the participating units, owners and supervision units at all times, held several special meetings on catenary cold slip, formulated detailed test plans, cooperated with each other, refined the division of personnel tasks, and made meticulous preparations from mechanical equipment, personnel arrangements, driving routes, safety plans, etc.
It is worth noting that the official has previously announced that the Guangzhou-Shantou high-speed railway will be officially opened on September 30. The time node of the cold slip test is also moving towards the goal of opening to traffic. Therefore, in order to accelerate the follow-up construction of the Guangzhou-Shantou high-speed railway and make the final sprint for the opening this year, in addition to the "cold slip test officially kicked off", the equipment installation of the Guangzhou-Shantou high-speed railway, the decoration of the public area of the station and other construction are also under construction. At the same time, nodes such as energizing, thermal slipping, and joint debugging tests of the Guangzhou-Shantou high-speed railway catenary are also under intensive preparation. Therefore, according to the current node calculation, the Guangzhou-Shantou high-speed railway, with a total length of about 203.36 kilometers, passing through Guangzhou, Huizhou, Shenzhen-Shantou Special Cooperation Zone and Shanwei, and with eight stations, including "Xintang, Zengcheng South, Luofushan, Boluo, Huicheng South, Huidongnan, Shenzhen-Shanwei", has basically been scheduled to open to traffic on September 30.
After the opening of the Guangzhou-Shantou high-speed railway, the journey distance will be shortened from more than 2 hours to more than 40 minutes, greatly improving travel efficiency and promoting the ecological economic development between the two places. At the same time, the Guangzhou-Shantou high-speed railway can directly reach the center of Guangzhou through the Guangzhou-Shenzhen railway, Huizhou and Shanwei can directly connect to the downtown area of Guangzhou, and coupled with the Zhongkai connection line built by Shenzhen, Huizhou Shanwei can also directly reach the center of Shenzhen to further weave the railway network in the Greater Bay Area.
