This volume of Li Gonglin's "Filial Piety" ink silk painting collected by the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the United States is unanimously recognized as Li Gonglin's 1085 painting. After this volume, there are inscriptions of the Southern Song Dynasty Khan Man Weng, four inscriptions of Ming Dong Qichang, and six inscriptions of Bi Yuan of the Qing Dynasty. There were fifteen other Ming and Qing dynasty inscriptions, as well as Li Hongzhang, a heavy minister of the late Qing Dynasty. According to the meaning of the "Filial Piety Classic", the author painted a fifteen-paragraph illustrative picture scroll, wrote the contents of the "Filial Piety Classic" in the form of a calligraphy, and drew and wrote the accompanying picture with the line drawing method, and the calligraphy and painting were combined.

Song Guo Xi 《Tree Color Pingyuan Map》

This map depicts a view of the trees on both sides of a river. The scene in the painting is bounded by the river and can be divided into two parts. The foreground is painted near the shore of the river, the flat slope of the stone, on which there are several bushes of ancient trees, the branches are coiled and stretched, the trees are entangled with dead vines, and the weeping vines are dotted with water. The opening place is the distant mountains and wild water, the second time there are old trees in Potuo, and there is a pavilion built on the gangfu, which is the ideal place for the literati Yashi poetry and wine gathering. The painting is dotted with an old man with a cane, a servant carrying a piano and a box, a boat on the surface of the water and a wild goose flying, all render a strong poetic meaning. This figure has no money, and there is an inscription on the poems of the Yuanming families at the end of the volume.

Song Zhao Tuo, "Bamboo Bird Diagram"

The picture stone cliff protrudes two bamboo branches, two birds perched on the branches opposite each other, with a delicate and neat pen, but the branches and branches of the bamboo and the spines are dyed with color and not outlined, and the painting method of the cliff stone can be seen in the clumsy brush

Tang Han Gan, "Illuminating the Night"

The painting depicts a horse "shining in the night". "Zhao Ye Bai" is the mount of Li Longji of Tang Xuanzong, and in the picture, "Zhao Ye Bai" is tied to a wooden stake, with his head held high and his hooves soaring, as if he wanted to break free of the reins. This figure is concise with a pen, the lines are woven with fine and strong, the horse's body is slightly rendered, and the male jun's demeanor has been expressed. The upper left of the picture is inscribed with the six characters of "Han Gan Painting Illumination Night White", which is the inscription of Li Yu, the lord of the Southern Tang Dynasty. The upper left side has the word "Yanyuan", which seems to be the inscription of Zhang Yanyuan, a famous art historian of the Tang Dynasty; the lower left has the inscription of Song Mifu and is stamped with Zhu Wenyin of "True Reward of Nature". It is a well-known and orderly tradition.

Southern Song Dynasty Anon. Ming Emperor Xingshu Tu

The painting depicts a grim-looking royal retinue after the execution. Although the clothing in these figures is from the Tang Dynasty, the landscape style of the painting, especially the nuanced, misty mountains, suggests that it is a work of the mid-12th century.

The painting divides the mountain view into three sections. In the foreground, a boat anchors at the foot of a wooded mountain; in the middle of the scene, travelers march towards a temple; and mountain peaks stand out in the background.

Song Huang Tingjian, "Cursive Lian Po Lin Xiang Xiang Biography" (partial)

"Lian Po Lin Xiang Ru Lie Biography" is one of Huang Tingjian's masterpieces. The "Biography of Lian Po Lin Xiangru" is a famous passage in Sima Qian's "Records of History", which tells the story of Lin Xiangru, the minister of the Zhao state during the Warring States period (first the urgency of the country and then the private vendetta). There is no written chronology and historical paragraph at the end of the volume, and it was written in the second year of Shaosheng (1095). Inside the volume are the "Neifu Book Seal", "Shaoxing" Lianzhu Seal, "Inner Province Zhai", "QiuYuan Book", "Ouyang Xuanyin", "Xiangzi Jingjia Treasures", and other seals, as well as Xiang Yuanbi. Books such as "Shigutang Calligraphy and Painting Examination" and An Qi's "Black Edge Huiguan" are all written.

The last sentence reads, "First the urgency of the country and then the private jets." In the context of the political struggle of the Song Dynasty, Huang Tingjian's cursive book became a powerful indictment of his party affiliations. Huang Tingjian was also influenced by the party struggle at that time, from the imperial capital who lived in the border of Qianzhou, the epilogue of "first the urgency of the country and then the private chicken" has a long meaning.

Tang Chuan Zhong Shaojing Kai Shu Lingfei Scriptures (Partial)

This painting of the Lingfei Jing of kaishu was written in 738 by Zhong Shaojing by Princess Yuanzhen, the daughter of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang, and is a model of the exquisite court style of the Tang Dynasty. The small letters are balanced and harmonious, and every stroke is perfectly arranged and written. Thanks to the use of long, sharp, hard brushes, each stroke is clean and crisp, and the starting and bearing turns are also graceful and neat. Each word is horizontal and vertical, and the outside looks like a rectangular frame supporting it. The whole calligraphy reveals a thoughtful simplicity and becomes a spiritual model of external balance and inner tranquility.

Southern Song Dynasty Ma Yuan Moon Appreciation Plum Chart Tuan Fan Album Page Silk Book

"Looking at the Plum Under the Moon" is a small landscape painting of Tuan Fan, the composition is simple and cheerful, and the picture is rich and quiet. The lower left half is richer in content: the trunk outlined with scorched ink is as thin as iron, the mountain stone with a large axe is solid and powerful, the strong and winding plum branches slope out of the stone and spread to the right and upper right corners respectively; a cane-wielding coat sits leisurely in the corner of the mountain stone, and a piano boy stands next to the mountain stone behind Coats, both looking ahead and quietly admiring the plum. The upper right half of the content is relatively empty: a few plum shadows are faintly visible, a refreshing round of full moon, and the rest is left blank. It can be seen that the work is a small scene painting, and the framing feature is a typical "horse corner", which depicts the elegant situation of "admiring plums under the moon" in a partial way.

Yuan Zhao Mengfu Xingshu "Former Search for Li Yuan's Poetry Volume"

Interpretation: Xi Xun Li was willing to go to Pangu, and saw the opening of the Cangguo Giant. It was time for the new sunny patio to overflow, who put the long sword on the line too. The wind blew through the sky, and the rain sprinkled Luoyang in the daytime. In the east, the Yanchuan river eats wilderness, and there are baskets full of ferns. Matou Creek is not deep, borrow the water from the car into the box. Pingsha green wave list square mouth, geese and ducks flying through the weeping poplar. Poor exploration is quite arbitrary, and the sun and moon outside the object are not busy. Returning to the hard work of who wishes to do, sitting on the order to go further is slim. Idle door Chang'an three days of snow, pushing books and writing songs. There are no strong men on the side to send their subordinates and recall Lu Laoshi's upheavals. Kai Xuan overlooked the return of the work, and the words were all on the paper. Knowing that Li Hou had ignored it, Fang Dong entered Cui Songzang alone. I am now in a dilemma, and I will be stupid and foolish to follow the dynasty for ten years. The family asked the official to not report the fall, which is no different from the sparrow stealing the taicang. The line draws the hand version of fu Cheng Xiang, and does not wait for impeachment to return to the sang. Zi Ang.

Ming DuYi 《Inscribed Bamboo Diagram》

Du Yan (杜堇), whose original surname was Lu (陸), was born in the Du clan (杜氏), courtesy name Shu Nan (柽君), also known as Gu Fanatic, a native of Dantu (present-day Zhenjiang, Jiangsu). Patriarch Li Gonglin's white depiction method, with slender and smooth lines, and a unique and charming attitude, was a master of white painting at that time. From the inscription poem in the painting, I know that this picture depicts the story of the famous poet Su Shi of the Song Dynasty. In the middle of the picture, the person with the high hat and long beard and the bamboo inscription is Su Shi. The characters are painted with orchid leaves, and there are slight twists and turns and setbacks, slender and powerful. The main trunk of the ink bamboo is finely blended, and the sections are clearly distinguished, and the pen and ink also show the characteristics of fine show. Weishan stone hook is more casual, with many sharp bends and shorts with uncertain directions, similar to the mountain stones worn by the "Zhejiang School", and its painting method seems to have a certain relationship with the "courtyard body" and "Zhejiang school".

In addition to the paintings depicting kapok, the painter also has "Silkworm Mulberry Diagram", depicting mulberry leaves and adult silkworms, only one leaf and three silkworms. The painter deliberately depicts kapok and silkworm mulberry that can give human quilts, and places a deep affection for this special creation of nature. In terms of expression technique, this picture is fine with a pen, not subjective and unique, it is derived from sketching, and the color is light and elegant, which is unique.

Qing Yu Ji "Falling Flowers Independent Figure"

In the painting, the rain is hazy, the peach blossoms are red, and the dots are falling, and under the eaves of the curtain, a young woman is standing by the door, watching the double swallows who hurriedly returned in the drizzle, looking miserable and lonely. The picture is sparsely written and the color is light, which sets off the poetry of "the flowers are independent, and the slight swifts are double returned".
