At that time, during the ban on fishing in the Yangtze River, the police station attached great importance to this incident of the wind, and Shang Wei, deputy director of the police station, led the team to carry out night patrols by the Long Lake every night.
In the early morning of March 11, Shang Wei led the police Hu Xiang to crouch near the seventh group of Zhuchang Village. At about 4 o'clock, the police found that a fish shed on the shore of the Long Lake was lit up, and the figure inside it was shaking. The two immediately rushed over. In dim light, four middle-aged women in the fish shed are removing wild anchovies from the nets.
The civilian police will control the scene. After investigation, all 4 people are villagers of Zhuchang Village. At about 3:00 a.m. on the same day, the village women Chen and Deng used fishing nets in the Long Lake, and the two dragged the fish they caught to the fish shed and invited Zhu and Meng to come to help.
Afterwards, the police handed over the seized fishing nets and wild fish to the Jingzhou Mayor Lake Management Office. After identification, a total of 136 catties of fish were caught, which are wild anchovies in Long Lake, which can only survive in rivers and lakes, and cannot be fed in fish ponds. At the same time, the fishing nets used by Chen and others are also dense-eyed nets, which are prohibited fishing gear.
According to relevant laws and regulations, Chen X and Deng X have illegally fished more than 50 kilograms in the aquatic germplasm resources protection zone stipulated by the state, and have been suspected of illegal fishing for aquatic products. The circumstances of Zhu X and Meng X are minor and do not constitute illegal crimes.
At present, Chen mou and Deng mou have been detained by the police, and Zhu and Meng have been transferred to the Long Lake Management Office for handling. The case is under investigation.
