For the first time in seven years, a commercial flight flew from the Yemeni capital to Saudi Arabia

At about 8 p.m. local time on the 17th, a Yemen Airlines passenger plane carrying about 270 people took off from Sana'a International Airport to Jeddah, a coastal city on the Red Sea in Saudi Arabia. This is the first commercial flight from Yemen's Houthi-controlled capital to Saudi Arabia in seven years.
