Hanyuan County is located in the middle reaches of the Dadu River, which is the county with the longest sunshine time in Ya'an City, and is a veritable "Panxi Sunshine First City". In March this year, on the occasion of the blooming of pear blossoms, the opening ceremony of the 2023 Sichuan Flower (Fruit) Ecotourism Festival Hanyuan 10th "Sunshine Health Care City Livable New Hanyuan" Flower Appreciation Tourism Festival was held in Huashen Square in Jiuxiang Town, Hanyuan County. With flowers as the medium and festival friends, Hanyuan County held a month-long flower appreciation tourism festival, receiving a total of 725,800 people and achieving a comprehensive tourism income of 689 million yuan.
After the prosperity ended, Hanyuan County became a feast of fruits again. With the mass listing of yellow fruit oranges, apricots, sweet cherries, loquats, mulberries, etc., a picking tour in Hanyuan has become a tourist check-in point for many tourists.
At the same time, opening up the lake life with the lake is also a gift from this ecological treasure to the majority of tourists. Hanyuan Lake covers an area of 84 square kilometers, is the largest artificial lake in the southwest, the length of the lake is 72 kilometers, the widest point is up to 2.8 kilometers, the lake area is vast, the lake water is clear, the water quality is excellent, the blue sky and white clouds and blue water constitute a very beautiful picture. Looking at Hanyuan Lake, it is most appropriate to describe it with the phrase "high gorge out of Ping Lake".
Because it is located in the transition zone between the Sichuan Basin and the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the crisscrossing Liusha River, Dadu River and other water system resources also make the magnificent and colorful river valley Qixia a check-in place for many tourists. This 26-kilometer Grand Canyon is rare in the world with its continuous and complete canyon length and steep magnificence, with thousands of walls on both sides, and strange peaks and rocks, which makes people feel deeply in awe of nature. In 2005, the Dadu River Gorge was rated as one of the "Top Ten Most Beautiful Canyons in China" by National Geographic of China; In 2022, Hanyuan Daduqixia was successfully selected as the "New Eight Scenic Spots" of Ya'an.
Similarly, the historic Hanyuan County has left a lot of interesting historical footprints. Maiping Ruins, one of the well-preserved sites of the late Neolithic period found in the middle reaches of the Dadu River, the Jiuxiang Stone Archway, which integrates the Sichuan opera art of ancient mainland opera, and Qingxi Ancient Town, known as "Xiaotong Pass on Jianchang Road", are all worth visiting.
