The "2023 Thai Select Food Festival" aims to promote the Thai Select logo and let more Chinese consumers understand the meaning of the Thai Select logo. At the opening ceremony, Thai restaurants with the Thai Selection logo exhibited Thai cuisine, showcasing the culinary culture of Thai cuisine, and Thai restaurant chefs also gave live cooking demonstrations and teachings of Thai cuisine.
According to reports, the Thai Select logo can be divided into three categories: the Thai Select gold logo represents a Thai restaurant with excellent quality, and the acquisition of the logo needs to meet the requirements of Thai cuisine taste reaching the standard of authentic Thai cuisine, the interior decoration of the store is traditional Thai style or contemporary design style, the service level is excellent, the image and characteristics of Thai cuisine can be effectively highlighted, and customers give high evaluation; The Thai Selection Red logo represents a Thai restaurant of excellent quality, and the receipt of the logo must meet the criteria of Thai cuisine taste meeting Thai cuisine standards, good service level, and value for money after customer experience; The Thai Select blue logo represents high-quality Thai restaurants that offer authentic Thai food, but there are certain restrictions on the dining environment and service conditions, such as small, simple fast food restaurants that can provide convenient services, stores in food courts, or food trucks that require self-service, roadside shops, etc.
Up to now, there are 9 Thai restaurants and 17 branches in Yunnan Province that have won the Thai Select Label, including 6 and 12 branches in Kunming, namely Yaowarat Thai Restaurant, Tai Shuang Jin Restaurant, Tai Huanxi Restaurant, Yunrui 18 Restaurant, Zhentai Restaurant and Ningji Pork Foot Restaurant; Xishuangbanna has a total of 3 and 5 branches, namely Thai Banna Designer Thai Restaurant, Aisha Bay Restaurant and Thai Coffee Restaurant. These Thai select restaurants will host both promotions and promotional activities during the event.
