He Wenbo introduced the progress of the key work determined by the association to Tan Chengxu, and combined with the results of the recent thematic education survey, he and Tan Chengxu focused on the understanding and thinking of the current development environment and countermeasures of the steel industry, mainly focusing on "how to deal with capacity governance" and "how to go green and low-carbon". He Wenbo said that since the fifth general meeting of the sixth session of the steel association at the beginning of this year, the association has always carried out work in accordance with the established plan, and has achieved initial results, and specific opinions and measures have also been recognized by relevant ministries and commissions. In the next step, the association will closely combine the actual and market concerns of enterprises learned in the theme education survey, strengthen communication and consultation with relevant departments and enterprises, continue to optimize and improve the key work programs of the association in accordance with the requirements of industry development and the needs of member enterprises, do our best to meet the demands of members, and actively promote the high-quality development of China's steel industry.

Tan Chengxu welcomed He Wenbo and his entourage to visit Angang and affirmed the large amount of work that the Steel Association is currently doing for the industry. At the same time, Tan Chengxu combined with the reality of Angang to expound his views on industry issues. He said that Secretary He Wenbo's general thinking on the development of the industry has something in common with Angang. Capacity governance is both an industry problem and an enterprise problem, which needs to go through a relatively long adjustment road, but how to combine capacity governance, green transformation, extreme energy efficiency and other work, overall consideration, cross-thinking, and help the industry get out of the trough of development as soon as possible is a topic that requires in-depth research and is relatively urgent. Angang will combine its own characteristics, make solid explorations in key industry work such as green and low-carbon transformation and "cornerstone plan", provide some "Angang experience" for the industry, and fully cooperate with the association to promote relevant work.
