In order to deeply study and publicize the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, improve the people's awareness of the protection of intangible cultural heritage, better inherit and carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture, and protect and inherit the intangible cultural heritage, on the evening of June 10, Yunxiao County held the "Cross-Strait Sharing Intangible Cultural Heritage" Weihui Cultural Day and the 2023 "Cultural and Natural Heritage Day" activity in Weihui Square, with the theme of "Strengthening the Systematic Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage and Promoting Sustainable Development". The performance kicked off with the Teochew opera chorus "Grass Bridge Worship", and the "Intangible Cultural Heritage Items "Yunxiao Paper Cutting" Skill Display" integrated the content of intangible cultural heritage items into the cultural and artistic stage performance; "Municipal Ninth Batch of Yunxiao Old Golden Jujube Production Skills Display" uses dance movements, scene performances and other easy-to-understand ways to interpret intangible cultural heritage production skills; "The Fourth Batch of Hakka Mountain Songs at the County Level" performs intangible cultural heritage items under the rhythm of music, showing the unique charm of intangible cultural heritage; Wonderful programs such as "Music Eloquence Show" and street dance "Good Luck" were staged in turn, bringing a cultural feast of southern Fujian to the masses.
At the event, the leaders of the county and the Cultural and Sports Tourism Bureau presented awards to the winning merchants of the "Top Ten Food Souvenirs" invited by our county to participate in the first food and culture festival of Zhangzhou City.
