In 237 BC, the Qin prince adopted the suggestion of the Korean water conservancy Zheng Guo and excavated the unparalleled Zheng Guo Canal in ten years with the power of the Qin state. At that time, because Korea was afraid of Qin, it sent Zheng Guo, a water worker, into Qin to offer advice on the construction of canals, thereby draining Qin manpower and resources and weakening the Qin army. This counterproductive move made the Qin state stronger.
The Jing River originates on the east side of Liupan Mountain in Ningxia, flows south into Shaanxi territory, enters Zhongshan Mountain in Chunhua County, and carves a large canyon in the lofty mountains, the canyon is more than 50 kilometers long, 30-120 meters wide, and the valley depth is 200-500 meters, flowing out from the mouth of Jingyang Zhangjia Valley. This valley mouth is the head of the Zhengguo canal of the legendary ancient Chinese water conservancy project.
The project was built by Korean hydraulic engineer Jung Kook in the Qin State and completed about ten years later. Zhengguo Canal draws water from the west to Luoshui in the east, which is more than 300 li long. North of the Wei River, a network irrigation system was formed between the Jing River and the Luo River, which solved the irrigation problem in the Guanzhong Plain and increased grain production. South Korea's move backfired, prompting the Qin state to become stronger, and the princes, destroying the six kingdoms, and dominating the world.
Zheng Guoqu has a history of more than 2,200 years. It is the largest irrigation channel in ancient China, with an irrigation area of 180,000 hectares. Qushou site in Chuantou Village, Jingyang County, and Wanli Village, Liquan County. Since the excavation of the Qin State, Zheng Guo Qu has gone through the construction of various dynasties, successively including Baiqu, Zhengbaiqu, Fengli Canal, Wang Yueng Canal, Guanghui Canal, and Jinghui Canal, which have benefited the local area so far.
In addition to the old canals of previous dynasties, there are also a large number of inscriptions, which can be called a rich museum of the history of Chinese water conservancy. It is a national cultural relic protection unit.
On November 8, 2016, the 2nd World Irrigation Forum and the 67th International Executive Council held in Chiang Mai, Thailand, brought good news that Zheng Guoqu became a world heritage of irrigation engineering.
After a long period of vicissitudes, Zheng Guoqu no longer has the scene of flowing water in the past. Although on the canal head and the dam site, some historical imprints of the original can still be faintly seen.
For example, the original Zhengguo canal head was located in "Jingkou" (now northwest of Shangran Village, Wangqiao Town, Jingyang County), the canal line went east along Wangqiao and Qiaodi Town, turned northeast after crossing Zhaizigou, passed through the kilometers of Song Township and the line of Tsubaki Shulu Village, crossed the Yeyu River near Shuimo Village in Jianglu Township, turned east after reaching Ganzebao, and entered the border of Sanyuan County at Tieli Village in Longquan Township.
In 1929, a severe drought occurred in Guanzhong in Shaanxi Province, and Mr. Li Yizhi, a famous water conservancy expert in modern China, was ordered to build the Jinghui Canal on the site of Zhengguo Canal. The Jinghui Canal has evolved so far and developed the Jinghui Canal Irrigation Area.
At the entrance of the Wei River, the Jing River forms the dividing line between the Qing River and the Wei River (a tributary of the Yellow River), and the two waters of one river are called Jing and Wei. It has also become the source of the phrase "clear distinction" often said in the Guanzhong region of Shaanxi.

Finally beheaded by the heavenly official, Yuan Shoucheng felt a little guilty in his heart, and accidentally passed through the black ditch of the Jing River, and by the way built the dragon palace for the dragon king here, and since then the black ditch has been a little mysterious and magical.
If the heart is young, the years are not old. Being man-made is a positive attitude to life, going with the flow is a way to survive, water is a superb wisdom for entering the world, and indifference and tranquility is a detached attitude to life.
