The Southern Song Dynasty Chao Gongwu's "Reading Records of Junzhai" and Chen Zhensun's "Zhizhai Book Records Solution" are China's famous private book collections, which have an important position in the history of Chinese bibliography, and are known as the "double bi" of private catalog works. The "Gunzai Reading Chronicle" has been inscribed throughout the ages, circulating in an orderly manner, while the "Zhizhai Book Record Solution" has a bad fate and almost died, and after the publication of the book, only a few fragments of the manuscript were circulated among collectors, and their lives were hanging on the line. During the Qianlong Dynasty of the Qing Dynasty, Zou Bingtai, a minister of the Siku Pavilion, compiled from the "Yongle Canon" volume 19718 to volume 19727 "Record" and divided into twenty-two volumes, with the Wuyingdian Juzhen Edition and the "Four Libraries Quanshu" manuscripts, which were only seen by ordinary readers. However, when compiling this book, the Siku Guanchen not only changed the volume, but also changed the text. In order to restore the original appearance of the book, the famous scholar Lu Wenbi reviewed the book according to several fragments and re-edited the volume. The re-edited manuscript is now in the Shanghai Library, but it is somewhat mutilated.

In order to promote the study of the book, the Zhejiang Ancient Books Publishing House specially selected two precious editions of the "Zhizhai Book Record Solution" of the National Library Fu Zengxiang recorded Lu Wenbi school copy and the National Library of China's Tibetan Yuan Manuscript four volumes of fragments photocopied and published, of which the former Zhu Mo two-color overprint, the latter color printing. The Shaoxing Library also has a copy of the "Chen Zhizhai Deeds and The School Language for solving the problems of the book", which is of great benefit to the book of the Chen clan in Yanzhi and is also photocopied in color.

The French sinologist Bai Leri said: "The Song Dynasty is the dawn of modern times. "Whether it is from the perspective of the degree of social civilization or the people's living standards, the Song Dynasty has reached an unprecedented height. As Chen Yinke said: "The culture of the Chinese nation, which has evolved over thousands of years, was created in the world of Zhao and Song Dynasties. ”

Correspondingly, the Song Dynasty people formed a complete set of aesthetic philosophies in spiritual life, from fuqin, perfume, flower viewing, painting, chess, tea cooking, listening to the wind, drinking and other details of life, can show a profound cultural heritage.

The first attribute of the book is the cultural carrier, the second attribute is the arts and crafts, and the third attribute is the cultural relics and collectibles.

During the Han and Tang Dynasties, the main reason why intellectual culture was monopolized in the hands of the door valve was that the books at that time were circulated by copying, so that most people did not have the opportunity to contact culture. At that time, the scholar said: "The widow is full of gold, it is better to have a scripture." "It's by no means high-profile. Its hidden logic is that the golden mountains and silver mountains always have a time to use the light, and after reading even one kind of scripture, they will be summoned by the emperor and have the opportunity to make progress, and they will not be able to use it inexhaustibly for a lifetime. The Printing Technology of the Song Dynasty had matured, and books could be copied in large quantities, so that reading books was no longer the patent of high society. When we were young, we heard the inspirational story of Fan Zhong drowning and cutting porridge, which was the opportunity brought to him by the popularization of Books in the Song Dynasty, and it was also the internal driving force of the depressed society of the Song Dynasty.

Scarce things are more expensive. In the age of craftsmanship, books, while widely available, could not be as cheap as they are today in the post-industrial era. For example, at the beginning of its birth, a book was equivalent to a Kindle e-reader, although the price was not out of reach, but ordinary families could not buy as much as they wanted. The great bibliophiles are all rich. With the passage of time, the Song book gradually died out due to natural and man-made disasters, and the number of surviving worlds decreased, and in the Ming and Qing dynasties, it was promoted from practical to antique. It became "one page of Song edition one or two gold". In this way it has bid farewell to an audience that is purely for the purpose of reading, but there is still a narrow market. Today, because it is even rarer, it has been promoted from antiques to cultural relics. Most of them are stored in public museums, which are no longer accessible to ordinary people.

The National Library of China is the largest collection of Song editions at home and abroad, and its collection accounts for half of the total number of surviving works. The set of "National Library of Song and Yuan Rare Books Catalogue" launched by us is a comprehensive display of the collector's background of the library, a total of 16 large volumes, 1613 kinds of books, high-definition shooting, detailed annotation and fine printing, so that readers can feel the charming charm of Song and Yuan book culture in hand.
