Wang Yuxi, alias Walker, owner of Huai'an Mountain House. Born in Tianjin, graduated from Nankai University and currently teaches at Tianjin Art Vocational College.
【Awards and Honors】
In 2017, he won the "Young Eagle Cup" National Excellent Art Teacher of the 18th National Children's Calligraphy and Painting Competition. In 2019, he won the gold medal of the "National Intangible Culture and Art Inheritance Award". In 2019, he won the National Cultural Construction Award. In 2021, he won the "National 14th Five-Year Plan Cultural Construction Award" and was awarded the honorary title of "National 14th Five-Year Plan Cultural Construction Pioneer Standard-bearer". In 2021, he was awarded the honorary title of "Excellent Teacher of Great Calligraphy Education" by the China Hard Pen Calligraphy Association.
【Exhibitions & Publications】
In July 2020, he held a solo exhibition entitled "All Things Are Self-satisfied" at Suzhou Jiaying Guild Museum Art Museum, and at the same time, Tianjin People's Fine Arts Publishing House published a personal painting collection "All Things Are Self-satisfied". In December 2020, his works were published in the 108th issue of Art Magazine in Rongbaozhai. In January 2021, his works participated in the "Calligraphy Pen Club in Commemoration of the 45th Anniversary of the Death of Comrade Zhou Enlai" jointly sponsored by Tianjin Hard Pen Calligraphy Association and Tianjin Enlightenment Society Memorial Hall, and remained in the Memorial Hall of Consciousness Society. In January 2021, he participated in the "New Year Spring Festival Exhibition" and the invitation exhibition of contemporary calligraphy and painting masterpieces. The works were simultaneously published on Phoenix.com, Netease, Chinese Toutiao, Sohu, Baidu and other websites. In March 2021, he participated in the "Times Magnificent Song, Great Beauty is True - Contemporary Excellent Artists Exhibition". The works were published simultaneously on Sina.com, Tencent.com, Art Toutiao and other websites. From March to May 2021, he held a solo exhibition entitled "This Peace of Mind is My Hometown" at the Dajue Temple Art Museum of Yixing Buddha Guangzuting. In August 2021, his work "Linwu Body Thousand Characters" was included in the "Xuantong Collection" published by Zhejiang People's Fine Arts Publishing House. In August 2021, his works were published in the "Art Investment Reference - A Collection of Works of Contemporary Masters of Calligraphy and Painting" published by China National Photography Art Publishing House. In January 2022, a personal Chinese painting art exhibition entitled "Mo Shang Flowers Blossom Slowly Return" was held at Shanghai Xingyun Cultural and Educational Museum. In February 2022, his works were selected for the exhibition and broadcast event of Tianjin Library entitled "Carrying forward the spirit of fighting the epidemic and paying tribute to the heroes in your heart". In May 2022, his works were selected for the 2022 "Taste and Taste" Calligraphy and Painting Exchange Exhibition of Tianjin Hard Pen Calligraphy Association. In October 2022, his works participated in the "Welcoming the Party's Top 20 Calligraphy and Painting Cloud Exhibition" held by the Xiushan Art Branch of the Tianjin Alumni Association of Nankai University.
