Workers work on the site of the reconstruction project for the primary school building in Motegofadiwa in Auteng province, South Africa, June 8.
On the 8th, the reconstruction project of poor primary schools in South Africa, jointly donated by Bank of China Johannesburg Branch and Bank of Africa, was launched at the Motzego Fadiwa Primary School in the north of Pretoria, the administrative capital of South Africa. The primary school in Motsego Fadiwa currently has 1,059 students and 20 classrooms, five of which are still mud houses made of adobe when the school was built, which have fallen into disrepair due to lack of funds, which pose serious safety risks. Bank of China Johannesburg Branch and Bank of Africa staff learned about the situation and communicated with the school authorities, and decided to donate funds to rebuild the five classrooms.
