△ Wu Yunduo (1917-1991)
A hundred years of the Communist Party of China
In July 1953, the 36-year-old Wu Yunduo dragged his crippled body and wrote the autobiographical novel "Giving Everything to the Party", which inspired generations of young people. As a pioneer in China's military industry, Wu Yunduo forgot his life and death, was seriously injured, and still forgot his work, and was known as China's "Paul Kochakin". Wu Yunduo wrote in the book: As long as I live for one day, I will certainly work for the party and the people for one day. The precious recording you are hearing now is Wu Yunduo's speech on "How Young People Cultivate Their Communist Moral Qualities" recorded on April 12, 1955, on the Central People's Radio.

Wu Yunduo: What is the purpose of life? For us revolutionaries, it can only have an affirmative answer, that the purpose of life is to create greater happiness for the people, and the real happiness is that he sees the fruits of his labor become the happiness of the people, and therefore this is also his greatest happiness. A man with such a noble purpose in life is also the one who can best understand what happiness is, so that he can fight with self-sacrifice, work selflessly, and study tenaciously for the greater happiness of the people. True happiness is always inseparable from the victory of the people.

Wu Yunduo was born in 1917 in Anyuan Coal Mine, Pingxiang City, Jiangxi Province, to a poor family, and in his miserable life, he gradually realized that the only way to turn around, to liberate, and to be bright was to follow the Communist Party. After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan, Wu Yunduo resolutely joined the New Fourth Army and began his arduous military career. In order to develop bullets, he had more than 200 blowouts on his body, lost his left hand, left eye, and crippled his right leg, but still insisted on working on the front line. Many years later, Wu Yunduo recalled: I was a Communist Party member, and I should stand in the forefront in times of danger, and I should not push dangerous work to others.
△ In 1940, Wu Yunduo served as the director of the bullet factory in the Huainan base area of the Second Division of the New Fourth Army
Wu Yunduo: Dear young friends, the era in which we live is a great era, and each of us has embarked on a broad road of creating meritorious deeds and giving play to our talents. Don't live up to our youth, cherish the true happiness, and work selflessly and tenaciously to create greater happiness for the people!

From the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression to the War of Liberation, and then to the founding of New China, Wu Yunduo made important contributions to China's military industry in different posts, and his deeds also inspired the lives of generations of young people. Wu Yunduo's daughter Wu Ke will remember her father's speech all her life: a real person, his answer to difficulties is to fight; his answer to battle is victory; his answer to victory is always modest!
