Established in March 2022, the innovation center is jointly built by Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute, Changzhou Municipal Government and Changzhou National High-tech Zone, focusing on key technologies such as advanced carbon fiber, high-performance and multi-functional composite materials, life-cycle evaluation and recycling application, and solving the problem of related "stuck neck" technologies.
The newly opened headquarters building will accelerate the construction of public service platforms, undertake major national and industry science and technology projects, incubate high-level carbon fiber and composite material innovation enterprises, and strive to be the source of carbon fiber and composite material technology innovation and industrial innovation leader.
On the same day, the carbon fiber composite cable project and the green composite project settled in the innovation center. The Innovation Center cooperated with Jiangsu Hengrui Aviation Industry Co., Ltd. to establish a joint research center for green composite material technology, cooperated with Changzhou Institute of Technology on talent training and joint research, and cooperated with Jiangsu Composite Materials Society on the joint construction of a project review expert database and joint group standard formulation.
Our city is one of the earliest cities in China to lay out the carbon fiber industry, and the new carbon material industrial cluster has been included in the first batch of advanced manufacturing clusters of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. At present, Changzhou National High-tech Zone has gathered more than 30 leading backbone enterprises with independent intellectual property rights and core competitiveness, such as Zhongjian Technology, Hongfa Zongheng, Antai Composite Materials, Xinchuang Carbon Valley and Diwei New Materials, basically forming an industrial chain of "precursor production - composite molding - equipment manufacturing - terminal products".
