On June 5, the National Museum of Natural History was officially inaugurated in Beijing, marking a new page in the development of the China Museum of Natural History.
Renamed from the Beijing Museum of Natural History, the National Museum of Natural History is the only national-level and comprehensive natural museum in China, representing the national protection, research, collection, interpretation and display of natural objects and natural heritage with historical, scientific and artistic value in the process of human development.
