On the eve of World Environment Day, the Liangjiang New Area Ecological and Environmental Bureau launched a series of 2023 "June 5th World Environment Day" activities to publicize environmental protection to the public, guide the whole society to grasp the overall requirements of ecological civilization construction in the new development stage of the mainland, mobilize all sectors of society to devote themselves to environmental protection, and jointly protect the ecological environment.
On the morning of June 4th, the Boyou Biological Park Tour, hosted by the Liangjiang New District Bureau of Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment and undertaken by the Administrative Committee of Chongqing Garden Expo Park, attracted 45 groups of parent-child families who are enthusiastic about environmental protection, and a total of more than 100 people walked into the Garden Expo Park.

Focusing on the theme of "Building a Modernization of Harmonious Coexistence between Man and Nature", the activity called on children to collect branches, leaves and flowers that fell in the park, let children use their imagination, draw environmentally friendly creative works on white paper, and after the creation, the children bravely shared their creative ideas and beautiful visions with everyone. This time, we also organized parent-child families to draw a 10-meter ecological and environmental protection scroll, showing the freedom of imagination for a better living environment.
Empower science and technology and advocate low-carbon research
It is reported that from May 29 to June 5, the Liangjiang New Area Ecology and Environment Bureau also launched an online science knowledge interactive mini program. While advocating low-carbon travel for citizens, actively guide citizens to use WeChat mini programs to participate in online science knowledge interactive check-in activities. Citizens can scan the QR code of the offline billboard of the check-in point through their mobile phones, or log in to the activity mini program to play the audio explanation of the area, and explore the check-in places such as "genetic diversity", "lake and pond immune system", "energy plants in life", "animal diversity", "plant 'cleaner' who purifies water bodies" and other check-in places in the Garden Expo Scenic Area. Citizens will focus their lenses on the harmonious coexistence of animals, plants, microorganisms and humans in the Garden Expo Park, and upload photos with living organisms at three points to participate in the online lucky draw. As of press time, this online event attracted more than 25,000 people to participate in the event and distributed more than 400 gifts.
In the future, the Liangjiang New Area Ecological Environment Bureau will also hold the "Youth Together Ecological Two Rivers" cultural works collection competition, further calling on everyone to love nature, protect nature, build ecological civilization and pursue the concept of green environmental protection, health and harmony.
