At the same time, from January to May 2023, GAC AION New Energy sold a total of 166323 new vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 119%.
In addition, GAC AION New Energy's sales target for 2023 is to guarantee 500,000 units and strive to move towards 600,000 units, with a target growth rate of more than 84.5%.
From January to May this year, the total sales volume (166323 units) has achieved 33.27% of the target sales (500,000 units). In addition, since March, monthly sales have remained above 40,000 units, and it is believed that GAC AION New Energy should have little problem achieving this year's sales target.
Subsidized activities
On May 29, GAC AION New Energy also launched a limited-time preferential policy: from May 26 to June 30, 2023 (users who have ordered and completed the pick-up of the car), they can enjoy up to 10,000 yuan of all-risk subsidies, and can also enjoy financial discounts, replacement subsidies, new car charging gifts and other discounts.

The 2023 GAC AION S S Series, currently on sale, is available in seven models with a price of CNY 14.68 to CNY 165,800.
The car is equipped with a front-mounted single motor (high and low power tuning), the maximum power is 100KW (AION S) and 150KW (AION S PLUS), and the maximum torque is 225N.m.
In terms of endurance, the car is equipped with a 55.2/59.4kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack and a 58.8/68kWh ternary lithium battery pack, and the CLTC working condition provides a pure electric cruising range of 480 kilometers, 510 kilometers and 610 kilometers.
AION Y series
The 2023 GAC AION Y series currently on sale is available in six models with a price of CNY 11.98 to CNY 153,800.
The car is equipped with a front-mounted single motor (high and low power tuning), the maximum power is 100KW (AION Y), 150KW (AION Y PLUS), AND THE MAXIMUM TORQUE IS 176N.M (AION Y) AND 225N.m (AION Y PLUS).
