New Hongqiao International Medical Center is a high-end and international health butler service park, and also the first batch of national health tourism demonstration bases. Based on a highly shared medical technology guarantee service platform, in recent years, it has attracted a large number of medical institutions such as Tahecheng Cancer Hospital, Parkway Hospital, and Lanhai Rehabilitation Hospital.
Dr. Zhang Qiang Group's Sijun Surgical Clinic settled in the New Hongqiao International Medical Center in 2019, although the area is not large, but thanks to the various medical security services provided by the shared medical technology center, the development trend in recent years is gratifying.
The clinic is the smallest in the entire park, except for the consultation room and operating room, other supporting facilities are all supported by the park's shared project, "The highly intensive medical technology, logistics and business service sharing platform provides standardized shared projects including pathological testing, imaging diagnosis, drug distribution and other standardized shared projects for our settled medical institutions, which allows us to provide patients with high-quality medical services more intensively." Xu Ye, the head of the group's administration, told reporters.
Shanghai New Hongqiao International Medical Park, adjacent to Hongqiao Hub, has convenient transportation, and about half of the patients come from the Yangtze River Delta and all parts of the country. According to statistics, more than ninety percent of the patients discharged from the Hongqiao campus of Huashan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University in 2021 were from the Yangtze River Delta and other provinces and cities across the country.
The development of the park is also inseparable from the support of policy dividends. In October last year, the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress promulgated the Regulations of Shanghai on Promoting the Development of Hongqiao International Central Business District, in which the exploration of cooperation between social medical institutions and public hospitals in the park is a major highlight.
Yao Junjie, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai New Hongqiao International Medical Center, said: "By supporting cooperation between public hospitals and social capital medical institutions in the park, including large-scale equipment and multi-site practice of doctors, new breakthroughs have been made. Doctors from tertiary hospitals will come to the park more often, cooperate with medical institutions in the park, and sit here. ”
After years of intensive development, the park has gathered 11 hospitals and 18 medical technology and outpatient institutions. At present, the new Hongqiao R&D Center under construction will provide a convenient and intelligent complex R&D base and supporting living space, attract excellent institutions and talents at home and abroad, and further promote the high-quality development of the park.
"We hope to provide better supporting services in the park in conference, training, catering, leisure, office R&D, and also hope that such services can attract some high-end pharmaceutical R&D enterprises, medical device sales institutions, and commercial insurance institutions that cooperate with medical institutions to settle in the research and innovation center, forming the entire biomedical industry chain integrating medicine, research, production, commerce and service in the entire park." Yao Junjie told reporters.
