Shi Yang, born in 1889 in Zhushan, Hubei Province, is China's first "labor lawyer".

He sympathized with the laborers and spoke out. In 1922, the HanYeping Federation of Trade Unions was established, and he gave a speech: Are the steamships and trains that travel thousands of miles a day made by workers? What kind of airplanes and submarines at the bottom of the sky are not the creations of workers? What is not the result of the blood and sweat of our workers, such as human food, clothing, shelter and all the goods that sustain life? We are obviously the founders of the creation of the world to maintain the survival of mankind, and we should stand in the noblest position in the world.

On the surface, his family is well-off, but in fact, his family is surrounded by walls. Before his death, he wrote in his family letter to his wife: "The bedside is full of gold, and the cabinet is not half a bucket." Most of his money was given to laborers.

He was steadfast in his faith. In 1923, the Beijing-Hankou railway workers went on strike, and Shi Yang was one of the leaders of the strike. On February 15, when Shi Yang was shot, he was shot several times and still shouted "Long live the laborers."

What do today's children think of Shi Yang? What kind of China would Shi Yang want to see if he lived to this day? Xiao Ke, a searcher, came to Shiyang Primary School in Baofeng Town, Zhushan County, and had a dialogue with the students that spanned time and space.
