Sergio Ramos has confirmed he will leave Paris Saint-Germain when his contract expires this summer.
The experienced centre-back joined Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer from Real Madrid and is expected to make his 58th appearance for France in Saturday's season final against Clermontfort. Ramos' future at Paris Saint-Germain was questioned when he was omitted from images promoting their pre-season trip to Japan, and the 37-year-old Spaniard will leave the club in the coming weeks later Friday.
Ramos said: "It's been a fantastic experience to wear the red and blue shirt for the last two years. "I had an unforgettable adventure in Paris and I would like to thank everyone for their support and love. Allez Paris！ ”
Ramos then added on Twitter: "Tomorrow will be a special day and tomorrow I will leave another phase of my life, goodbye to Paris Saint-Germain. "I don't know how many places make you feel at home, but there is no doubt that Paris Saint-Germain, its fans and Paris are among them."
Club president Nasser Alkhlefi added: "We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Sergio Ramos for the two years he spent with us. "Sergio's leadership, teamwork and professionalism, combined with his experience at the highest level, make him a true football legend and it is an honour to have him in Paris. Exactly what Ramos' future holds is unclear. It is understood the experienced defender has been designated for a move to Saudi Arabia, possibly to join former Real Madrid team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo in Alnasr.
