Self-Knowing Ming (XXXIII)

author:Song of the Brave

Those who know know know and those who know themselves. The winner is powerful, and the self-winner is strong. The contented are rich. The forcible have aspirations. Don't lose your place for a long time. Those who die but do not die live.

The translation means that those who are good at understanding others are wise, those who are good at understanding themselves are wise, those who can overcome others have strength, and those who can overcome themselves are strong. He who knows that contentment is rich. People who persevere and work tirelessly are ambitious. Those who do not lose their duty will endure for a long time. Although the body is dead, the person whose spirit is eternal is the one who lives long.

Those who know know know and those who know themselves. Those who know people know: the first word "knows" is used to understand and understand. The second word "know" means "wisdom", that is, full of wisdom. Self-knowledge: Self-knowledge, people who can know and analyze the right and wrong things they do. Clear, smart and understood.

People who are good at understanding others are wise, and people who know how to understand and analyze the right and wrong of their actions are wise people. We need to know others, but also ourselves.

The winner is powerful, and the self-winner is strong. Self-victory is strong: Self-victory is the person who can overcome the self and overcome shortcomings. Strong means strong man in the true sense. Being able to overcome others shows that they have a certain strength, and those who can overcome themselves and overcome their shortcomings are the real strong.

The contented are rich. Those who know that contentment are rich and happy.

The forcible have aspirations. That is, those who climb the glory of life and improve themselves are people with ambition.

Don't lose your place for a long time. Those who do not lose their place are those who do things for the foundation of the Tao. Long, can last. Those who do not lose their duty will endure for a long time.

Those who die but do not die live. Those who die without dying refer to the noble spiritual wealth that remains forever on earth. Shou, long, and the above "long" is a mutual word, although death still means life. Although the body is dead, the person whose spirit is eternal is the one who lives long.

The frequency of this passage is very high, and we can get a lot of inspiration from it, and my impressions are threefold:

First, to understand others, we must understand ourselves more and do not avoid our own flaws and deficiencies. Starting from oneself to explore the fundamental way to solve the problem can give you a clear understanding. So that we don't stray from the right direction. The weak tear their hearts and lungs, and the strong do not move like a mountain. The problems faced are the same, the control is different, and the mood is naturally different.

Second, the long-term combination of contentment and perseverance and struggle can bring peace and growth to oneself. Contentment is not lying flat, but looking at life with a natural peace of mind and working hard. Maintaining a simple life and maintaining a state of continuous struggle, the two can complement each other, which is a rare life help.

Third, adhere to the original intention unchanged in order to achieve stability and long-term development. Everyone's experience and experience are different, and the goals they pursue are also different. The most important thing is whether what you are pursuing is the call from the heart. With the increase of experience, the richness of experience, various temptations emerge one after another. Always reflect on whether we have deviated from the course we once did.
