This week, in celebration of National Donut Day, Tim Hortons' pair of discontinued delicious products are back on the shelves, but one of them has sparked buzz for a variety of reasons.
Walnut shortbread and cherry bar donuts are back for a limited time, and according to the reactions of netizens, everyone seems excited to get these vintage-flavored donuts.

However, some people who buy walnut crispy donuts have commented online that the snack is visually similar to a piece of poop and unpleasant.
"Sorry, this is really like the dog poop I picked up."

Whether it's a photo of the product itself or what it shows on the menu, many admit that walnut crispy donuts look more like food that's about to leave than food that's entering.
"I saw it in the morning, too, in the toilet."

Of course, there are still many people who decide to take the first bite, and most of them report that walnut shortbread is actually quite delicious.
"After hearing this yesterday, I bought some on my way to work this morning. I'm not going to tell you, they don't look good, but they taste good. ”

Others felt it was a failed "repechage".

Before the return, walnut shortbread and cherry stick donuts had not been around for at least the past decade.
But when they last appeared in Tims, walnut shortbread also gained attention for resembling a lump of poop.

You can find walnut shortbread at Timmies locations across Canada and participating Tims restaurants in Quebec, while cherry bars are available at all Tims restaurants in Quebec and participating restaurants elsewhere in the country.
Finally, the walnut shortbread is easily distinguished from real poop because it appears on Tim Hortons' baked goods rack, not on the sidewalk or toilet.
