1. Shanmen
A temple, the first thing we entered was the mountain gate! And the one who guards the mountain gate is the famous second general Hun Ha!
Hum Ha Er Jiang, the Chinese folk common name for the two King Kong in front of the gate of the Buddhist temple mountain. It is a two-member god general formed by the author of the Ming Dynasty novel "Romance of the Gods" based on the two door gods who guard the temple of Buddhism, and the image is powerful and fierce. Hum general Zheng Lun, can use the nose to hum white qi to defeat the enemy; Ha will Chen Qi, can mouth Ha yellow qi to capture the general.
2. Bell and Drum Tower
The temple's bell and drum towers are generally divided into two floors, and are also dedicated to bodhisattvas.
The bell tower is dedicated to the Bodhisattva of Jizo, because the Bodhisattva of Jizo is the leader of the Netherworld, and he once made a wish to save the six sentient beings from the sea of suffering, which coincided with the purpose of ringing the bell.
The drum tower is dedicated to Garan Bodhisattva, Garan Bodhisattva (i.e. Guan Gong), Garan Bodhisattva has the meaning of the guardian deity of the land in Buddhism, and some temples enshrine the auspicious bodhisattva, that is, Manjushri. There are also temple drum towers dedicated to local mountain gods.
3. The Temple of the Heavenly King
The Hall of the Heavenly Kings, also known as the Maitreya Hall, is the first hall in the Buddhist temple, with the statue of Maitreya enshrined in the middle of the hall, the statue of the Four Heavenly Kings on the left and right, and the statue of Wei Tianzun on the back, hence the name.
Tennoden was originally seen in Pure Land monasteries, and Chinese Zen Buddhism was not dedicated to Maitreya, but after the two Song Dynasties, Chinese Buddhism appeared in the situation of Zen purification and double practice, so Tianwang Hall began to appear in most Chinese monasteries.

Four Heavenly Kings

4. Daxiong Treasure Hall
Generally, the Daxiong Hall enshrines three Buddha statues, commonly known as the Three Buddhas.
The Buddha representing the three different worlds of the east, middle and west is called the three Buddhas of the horizontal three, and the three Buddhas representing the past life and the future of the present life are called the three Buddhas.
The three Buddhas are Shakyamuni Buddha, representing our world, Amitabha Buddha, representing the Western Elysium, and Medicine Buddha, representing the Eastern Pure Glass World.
The three Buddhas represent the present Buddha Shakyamuni, the ancient Buddha representing the previous life, and the Maitreya Buddha representing the future.
