Abdul-Jabbar responds to Wiggins: The greater good in society is more important than personal choice

NBA star Karim Abdul-Jabbar posted earlier that he once again talked about vaccination.

Previously, Abdul-Jabbar had said that masks and vaccines were human weapons against the new crown virus, and Nets guard Kyrie Irving was fleeing. This time, Abdul-Abdul-Jabbar took aim at Bradley Bill and Andrew Wiggins.

Responding to Wiggins, Abdul-Abdul-Jabbar said: "Golden State Warriors player Andrew Wiggins promised that he would 'continue to defend my belief... What is right for one person is not what is right for others. He wanted to turn it into a matter of principle.

"No one forces anyone else to get vaccinated, no one forces you to get vaccinated. If you're so tough on your principles, then you don't play professional basketball. Go for it in firm defense of your principles, unless in the end money trumps the principles. By the way, the idea that 'what's right for one person, not for everyone else' sounds great, unless you realize that society exists because we think the greater good is more important than personal choice.

"Try to drive to the right, don't pay taxes, don't vaccinate your child against polio. The problem is that the rest of us need to pay for these bad thinkers because they clog up our hospitals, destroy our economies, and keep us away from our loved ones.

"The proportion of unvaccinated people infected with THE new crown virus accounts for 97.3% of all infected people, which says it all. Those who are asymptomatic infected may unknowingly spread the virus to others. So, when you're killing someone else, the idea that what's right for someone and what's not for someone else doesn't make sense. ”
