On May 31, our county held the launching ceremony of the Minors Protection Publicity Month and the "June 1st" activity to help and comfort children in distress in Yinmahu Square.
On that day, Yingmahu Square was particularly lively, and our county raised 45,000 yuan to help and comfort 118 orphans, 84 rural left-behind children in distress and 380 children in Hongrui Kindergarten, helping 30 children in distress to realize their wishes.
The event was sponsored by the County Committee for the Protection of Minors, undertaken by the County Civil Affairs Bureau, and co-organized by the members of the County Committee on the Protection of Minors, Chengguan Town and the County Volunteer Association.
June this year is the county's protection of minors publicity month, our county has always been very concerned about and cared for minors, attaches great importance to the protection of minors, strictly in accordance with the principle of "party committee leadership, government leadership, civil affairs leadership, family responsibility, departmental linkage, social participation", coordinated and integrated multiple forces, and focused on building a new pattern of "six in one" for the protection of minors in the family, school, society, grid, government, and justice, so that minors' physical and mental health and legitimate rights and interests can be effectively protected. The work of minors in the county has made great progress.
On the day of the event, more than 10 member units also publicized the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Minors, the Law on the Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency, the Family Education Promotion Law of the People's Republic of China and other laws and regulations by setting up publicity platforms and distributing publicity materials, and explained children's health knowledge to everyone, so that everyone could further understand the Law on the Protection of Minors, strengthen the concept of the rule of law for minors, improve their awareness of self-protection, and create a good atmosphere for the whole society to care for and protect the healthy growth of minors.
Liu Guilian, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the County People's Congress, Yang Zhanbin, deputy county magistrate of the government and director of the Work Committee for the Protection of Minors, and Fan Yan, vice chairman of the county CPPCC, attended the launching ceremony.
