Han Zheng said that due to the impact of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, the pressure of cargo crossing at the Border Port of China and Kazakhstan has increased, and the two sides should work together to solve this problem with a positive attitude. It is necessary to take targeted measures to ensure the normal customs clearance of goods from the two countries on the basis of doing a good job in border epidemic prevention work. It is necessary to strengthen communication and coordination, jointly study and solve the problems affecting railway cargo, restore the transit of goods at highway ports, and strive to achieve results as soon as possible. It is expected that the two sides will jointly preside over the tenth meeting of the China-Kazakhstan Cooperation Committee and plan the key directions of cooperation in the next stage.

Smylov said that the Kazakh side attaches great importance to Kazakh-Chinese economic and trade cooperation, especially the transit of goods at border ports, and is willing to make joint efforts with the Chinese side to ensure the smooth flow of freight at the Kazakh-Chinese ports and do a good job in preparing for the tenth meeting of the Kazakh-Chinese Cooperation Committee.
