Martha Finneymore Alexander Winter
Alexander Winter is a professor of political science at The Ohio State University and has taught at Yale University and the University of Chicago. His research interests include quantum social science, philosophy of social science, and international relations theory. He is a representative of the constructivist school of international relations. His book "The Social Theory of International Politics" won the "Best Book of the Decade" award of the International Research Association, and he also published the cross-border masterpiece "Quantum Mind and Social Science". In a survey of 1,400 international relations scholars around the world, Winter was named the most influential scholar in the field of international relations in the past 20 years. He also studied UFOs and loved metal music.
Martha Finneymore is a University Professor of Political Science and International Affairs at George Washington University and a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. His main research areas are international organizations, global governance and ethics in international affairs, and his main books include "The Purpose of Intervention", "Setting Rules for the World", "National Interests in the International Community", etc.
The John Skeet Prize in Political Science, known as the "Nobel Prize in Political Science", was established in 1995 and awarded by the John Skeet Foundation. The Foundation stipulates that the winner of the John Skeet Prize in Political Science must be a scholar who has "made the most valuable contribution to political science." Considered one of the most prestigious political science awards worldwide, the Prize is part of the legacy of Swedish politician Johann Skeit, who founded the Department of Government at Uppsala University, the oldest political science department in the world in 1622.
