Whether it is Wang Wei's "Stuffing the Top", "Xiao Guan is waiting to ride, he is protected by Yanran." Or Fan Zhongyan's "Fisherman's Proud", "A glass of turbid wine is thousands of miles, Yan Ran has no plan, and the Qiang pipe is full of frost." ”
Or Li Bai's "Denghandan Hongbo Taizhi Wine Guan Fa Bing" in "Please do not tie the crossing, and go to Yanran Mountain." The "Yanran" they say refers to Yanran Mountain, that is, Hangai Mountain in Outer Mongolia.
Historically, the location of Yanran Mountain was also part of the Xiongnu, and from the Qin to the Southern and Northern Dynasties, the Xiongnu have been active in the records of various dynasties, with which the Han Dynasty is the most entangled.
The most famous story of the Han Dynasty is "Zhaojun Goes Out", when the destination of Wang Zhaojun and his relatives was the Xiongnu, and there were only countless wars between the two sides except peace.
In 88 AD, the young crown prince Liu Zhao ascended the throne, and like most underage emperors, Liu Zhao had no real power in his hands.
Empress Dowager Dou, who obeyed the government, held power, and even though she was only the emperor's concubine, she was still the righteous Empress Dowager of the Han Dynasty, so no one dared to say anything about what she did.
After Empress Dowager Dou came to power, she began to expand her power in the dynasty, and her brothers all held important positions in the dynasty, especially her brother Dou Xian, who rose from a general from the fourth rank of Zhonglang to the second rank of zheng and held military power.
Empress Dowager Dou's family held court secrets, inner palace defense, and military and political power, and Liu Zhao was just their puppet, and the Han Dynasty at that time was almost surnamed Dou.
Dou Xian, who was in power and opposition, had his sister to support him, and acted recklessly in the court, as long as there were officials who did not look good, it would be a severe beating, and the Manchu dynasty dared to be angry and did not dare to speak.
Dou Xian is not only evil in his mind but also retribution, when Han Xian had some festivals with his father, Dou Xian killed Han Xian after gaining power, and cut off his head and placed it in front of his father's spirit.
After the death of Emperor Hanzhang, the royal clan went to the capital to pay their respects, and one of them, Liu Chang, had a good conversation with Empress Dowager Dou, who intended to let Liu Chang stay in the capital.

Dou Xian seized this golden opportunity and volunteered to lead troops to pacify the Xiongnu, and Empress Dowager Dou really had no better candidate, so she gave Dou Xian the opportunity to atone for his crimes.
The first thing Dou Xian did when he left the harem was to find his family friend Ban Gu, with whom Ban Gu had a close relationship before he was imprisoned, but when Ban Gu's mother died and went home to guard the spirit, the two did not work together.
When Ban Gu learned that Dou Xian was about to go to the battlefield, he immediately said that he was willing to be his deputy to go on the expedition, and Dou Xian always appreciated Ban Gu's ability, and immediately appointed him as a military protector and ordered him to accompany him.
Dou Xian and Ban Gu led their army to fight with the Xiongnu in Jiluo Mountain, the number of Xiongnu troops was not worth mentioning compared to the army of the Han Dynasty, and they were quickly defeated, and Dou Xian's army won a complete victory, and also took advantage of the victory to pursue, and beat the Xiongnu to the ground.
After the war, not only did the Xiongnu army flee in the desert, but Dou Xian also confiscated a large number of livestock, and even many local tribes did not return to the Han Dynasty.
The scene of thousands of miles of blood on the battlefield has also disappeared with time, and the change of dynasties has not changed the phenomenon of constant war here, but the soldiers who shed blood and died have changed batch after batch, and the soil under their feet has long been soaked with the blood of anonymous people.

●○ Stone carvings reappear after 1,000 years○●
The land is stained with blood, but time is like a never-ending wind, and the traces of the era everywhere it goes will be lost in history.
In the early 90s, it was no longer a battlefield, but a place for herders to live and work in peace, and they lived a stable life by herding their cattle.
One day there was a sudden heavy rain, and several sheep of the two herdsman brothers were frightened and fled the sheepfold, and if they did not recover it soon, they might never be found again, so they decided to chase the sheep in the rain.
It was hard to catch the sheep back, but the heavy rain did not mean to stop at all, they could only find a place to hide from the rain first, and when they wanted to hide from the rain, they looked up and found a strange stone wall.
After returning home, the two decided to report the discovery to the local official department, and experts from Outer Mongolia came one group after another, but they never knew what the writing on the stone wall meant.
Until 2014, Outer Mongolian experts passed the information of the stone wall to Qimud Dorji, a professor at Inner Mongolia University, but there was a lack of field research, and Qimud Dorji's research did not progress.
Two years later, Zimuddorji and several scholars who were skilled in the way embarked on a journey of field research.
Several people had endured hardships to reach the stone wall, and Zimud Dorji's intuition told him that the writing on the wall must be related to China, and that they would never return empty-handed.
China and Mongolia are closely related, and there have been many confrontations between the two in history, even the Yuan Dynasty was established by the Mongols, and it is difficult for several scholars to judge which dynasty the writing on the wall belongs to.
After observation, several scholars first focused their research on the period when Emperor Taiwu of Northern Wei conquered Rouran, but Emperor Taiwu alone sent troops 13 times, winning 11 victories.
In order to narrow down the scope, after returning to Qimud Dorji, he sent first-hand information to his proud protégé Gao Jianguo, hoping that he would have a clue to sort out the relationship between words.
Zimud Dorji originally just held the mentality of giving it a try, but he did not expect that his decision would be the biggest turning point in their archaeology.
Gao Jianguo vaguely found the words "Nandan Yu" in the data, and his discovery made the direction of archaeology directly turn to the Han Dynasty.
Because "Shan Yu" was the name given to the Xiongnu chieftains during the Han Dynasty, and the word "Nan" greatly narrowed the time range.
Originally, the Xiongnu had only one single Yu, but in the 24th year of the Eastern Han Dynasty, that is, in 48 AD, the Xiongnu were divided, and some Xiongnu were like the Eastern Han Dynasty, and their leader was called "Southern Dan Yu".
The Eastern Han Dynasty perished in 220 AD, less than 200 years, and when you compare it with the wars that took place here in history, the truth is about to come out.
He told Qimude Dorji about his discovery, and they immediately decided to form a joint expedition team with Mongolian experts, and Gao Jianguo also specially learned the technique of topping monuments before setting out, just to better study the writing on the stone wall.
When the archaeological team arrived in Central Gobi Province, it coincided with the local Naadam Conference, and everyone felt that this was a good omen that the trip would definitely bear fruit.
Once near the stone wall, the experts immediately set up camp, but the rubbing process was far less smooth than they thought, and many attempts ended in failure.
The house leak coincided with the overnight rain, the rubbing was never successful, and it rained heavily, and the team members could only wait anxiously for the rain to stop, but they did not want to bring this heavy rain and bring unexpected gains.
After the rain stopped, the team members found that the stone wall was washed clean and bright, even if it was not rubbed, the handwriting could be read with the naked eye, so everyone set up a ladder and began to compare word by word.
The content of the seal carved on this stone wall is about 1 meter high and 1.3 meters wide, and the whole text has more than 260 characters, and the team members recognized a full 220 characters this time.
After the comparison, Gao Jianguo was shocked and excited, shouting and announcing that the content engraved on the stone wall was the authentic work of Ban Gu's "Feng Yanran Mountain Ming".
After Dou Xian defeated the Xiongnu, he ordered Ban Gu to engrave the "Feng Yanran Mountain Ming" on the place of their victory, and Ban Gu greatly praised Dou Xian's heroic posture and victory in leading the troops.
Dou Xian also regained the victory of this battle, and Empress Dowager Dou once again used power to favor the opposition, but later he was not satisfied with the title of a marquis and a general, and even gave birth to the intention of rebellion, and after defeat, he could only commit suicide in the fiefdom.
After Dou Xian committed suicide, Ban Gu was removed from his post and returned to his hometown, and he was originally re-enrolled because Dou Xian left his hometown, and eventually returned home because Dou Xian was dismissed from office, and even framed and died in prison.

Although Ban Gu followed Dou Xian, he did have great achievements in literature and historiography, and his "Book of Han" was the first history of the Chinese dynasty.
