Yangbu Middle School in Daping Township, Tongcheng County, Hubei Province, is located in the southern foothills of Yaogu Mountain, founded in 1973, with more than 1,100 students.

In March this year, after Mr. Hu Shulin, a retired teacher of the school, spontaneously taught poetry to students in the rhythm class for more than ten years, the Tongcheng County Education Bureau advocated the "poetry association culture into the campus" activity in accordance with the spirit of "cultural self-confidence", "cultural rejuvenation" and "vigorous promotion of traditional culture" of the country. Yangbu Middle School took advantage of this shareholder wind and took the lead in launching the construction of campus poetry association culture.
Compared with the current poetry culture of the school, the atmosphere of the school is thick and the intensity of attention is incomparable.
Before entering the campus, still on the Dashui Highway outside the school gate, through the gap in the osmanthus tree, you can vaguely see the column characters of "Couplet Funny Words" and "Yanglian Culture and Chinese Treasures" on the school wall. Near the school gate, a pair of inspirational couplets on the wall, one after another interesting couplet stories, are pleasing to the eye.
In the corridor of the campus, the basic knowledge of The Yang Lian has everything; on the cultural wall in front of the apartment, the sound rhythm enlightenment reading materials are easy to understand and catchy; the Yixing Pavilion under the shade, the Tang Wind and Song Rhyme, the reference to the sound law, it is advisable to appreciate and learn; the stairwell, the poetry is regularized into a recipe, easy to understand and easy to remember; in the classroom, the couplet elements, taboos, the test rhyme garden, the eye is impressive; the apartment, the canteen, the corridor of the teaching building, the Famous Passage of the Tang and Song Dynasties, every student stops to recite.
The cultural atmosphere of the poetry association here is everywhere, everywhere is thick and fragrant. The poetry culture here not only enriches the campus, but also integrates into teaching and enters the classroom. The school has set up a leading group with the principal as the leader, the chinese teachers of each class and the class teacher as the group members, hired professional teachers to teach, compiled and printed learning materials, arranged poetry joint classes, and formulated study plans and test plans.
The poetry culture here is unique and distinctive. It is not simply a few Tang poems, a few Song poems, and a few pairs of framing on the wall. To write poetry, there is a creative recipe; reading poetry has a rhythmic contrast. Learn words, there is a word plate introduction, there is a general list of rhymes. The poetry culture here has a unique advantage and has the local characteristics of Yangbu Middle School. The fifty-meter-long vocal rhythm corridor is arranged in the full text of "New Vocal Rhythm Enlightenment". "New Compilation of Sound Rhythm Enlightenment" was compiled by Mr. Hu Shulin, a former retired teacher of Yangbu Middle School and a poet, and became Yangbu Middle School. The book rhymes thirty, three paragraphs each, six hundred and thirty dual phrases, and two hundred and seventy couplets, for a total of nine hundred pairs of sentences. The book was compiled by Mr. Che Wanyu of the Qing Dynasty according to the rhyme of Pingshui, including astronomy, geography, flowers and trees, birds and beasts, characters, artifacts, etc., from single-word pairs to two-word pairs, three-word pairs, five-character pairs, seven-character pairs to eleven-character pairs, and on the basis of the "Sound Rhythm Enlightenment", the words and allusions were popularized, popularized, and era-oriented. It is a multiply reading on top of all the poetry experts and scholars who have come into contact with it today, all clapping their hands and applauding the sound rhythm.
The poetry union culture class here is taught by Mr. Li Zhan, a senior teacher. Mr. Li Zhan is the "Elite of liantan" in Hubei Province, and has won the 2019 and 2020 National Peasant Poetry Competition Ancient Poetry Excellence Awards; there is a comprehensive textbook suitable for middle school students to learn poetry couplet writing, "Poetry Pairing". "Poetry Pairing" is specially planned by Yangbu Middle School for the poetry joint class, and entrusted to the chief editor of the Yaogushan Poetry Association, which has won the "National Outstanding Peasant Poetry Society Organization Award", with comprehensive basic knowledge, easy to understand and easy to learn, and easy to collect and preserve.
A few days ago, Yangbu Middle School, as the main assessment and acceptance point of Tongcheng County's declaration of poetry and Yuelian Cultural County, and Daping Township, ushered in the inspection and assessment of the delegation of the China Yuelian Society. The school's poetry culture won unanimous praise from the delegates.
Yangbu Middle School is building a school that integrates beat dance, calligraphy and painting, poetry, and Yanglian teaching.
