Painter Li Yamei, born in 1989, is from Chongqing and graduated from the School of Art Education of Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts. In 2012, he settled in Beijing Songzhuang Art District and established his own studio. He is currently a member of China Young Artists Association, Chongqing Artists Association, and Beijing Oil Painting Society. Representative works "Spring Splendid", "Quiet", "Iris" and so on.
As a female artist full of romantic feelings, Li Yamei mostly depicts flowers as the main subject of creation, and is good at using scrapers to express objects in the form of thick piles of texture, and the texture of the picture expressed by scraper paintings, thick and thin, virtual and real, is contrast everywhere, so that the picture obtains a firm and thick sense of beauty, producing visual effects that cannot be achieved by brushes.
