On August 21, 1953, Kang Rixin was born into a peasant family in Datong, Shanxi Province, who, like most families at the time, came from a poor family. From an early age, he needed to help his parents with farm work. But fortunately, Kang Rixin's parents were visionary and had high expectations for him, and were willing to send him to school when the family could not eat enough at that time.

In ten years, he was promoted to the position of vice president of the institute. Causes of the Fall
On August 5, 2009, on the morning of that day, a news item from the Xinhua News Agency set off a thousand waves. For Kang Rixin, general manager and secretary of the party group of the Nuclear Industry Group Corporation, "fell from the horse", everyone was very unbelievable. The State Supervision Commission of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection announced that Kang Rixin had committed serious violations of law and discipline and needed to file a case for investigation.
Originally, the case could have come to an end at that time. Until Professor Jin Yinan mentioned in his keynote speech on "Suffering and Glory", in recent years, nearly ten officials have been bought by foreign intelligence agencies, betrayed domestic secret intelligence, committed treason, and sold the country for glory, including Kang Rixin, who was double-opened in 2009.

He originally thought that the public funds could be borrowed first, and as long as he made money after speculating in stocks, he would immediately make up for the borrowed money.
The idea is very beautiful, but this stock speculation not only did not make money, but also lost money. There was no turning back when the bow was opened, the public funds were embezzled, and all were lost, and at this time Kang Rixin also knew that it was too late. Coincidentally, there were several nuclear power plants tendered for at that time, and only two companies in the United States and France met the conditions. The French company believes that the odds of winning are small, so they hope that Kang Rixin can help their company bid successfully, and will pay him a lot of money when the time comes.
If this kind of thing had been in the past, Kang Rixin would definitely have decisively refused, after all, it would not only leave a stain on his life resume, but also a handle. However, now Kang Rixin has no other way, after all, since he embezzled public funds, he can't help himself.
People on the edge of the cliff
Therefore, Kang Rixin decisively agreed, in order to get a huge reward, Kang Rixin used his authority to move, and finally let the French company successfully bid. On January 15, 2010, the Ministry of Supervision of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection confirmed that Kang Rixin, former general manager and secretary of the leading party group of China National Nuclear Corporation, had been expelled from the party and public office for serious violations of discipline and law.
The end of greed
On October 18, 2010, the Fifth Plenary Session of the 17th CPC Central Committee deliberated and adopted the review report of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection on the Kang Rixin issue, decided to remove Kang Rixin from his post as a member of the Central Committee, and confirmed the sanction of expulsion from the Party made by the Politburo on December 29, 2009.
On November 19, 2010, the Beijing No. 1 Intermediate People's Court rendered a first-instance judgment in the case of Kang Rixin, former general manager of China National Nuclear Corporation, in which it found Kang Rixin guilty of accepting bribes and sentenced him to life imprisonment, deprivation of political rights for life, and confiscation of all personal property.
While serving his sentence in prison, Kang Rixin received a reduction in his sentence by reporting some corrupt officials and behaving well in prison, but even so, he still needed to serve 20 years in prison, and by the time he came out he was in his 80s, his life had basically come to an end.

Therefore, when you are in a high position, you must also stick to your heart, assume your own responsibilities, and not lose yourself.
