From being sanctioned by the US government to now, Huawei's mobile phone business has been under sufficient pressure, but Huawei has not given up. As the former boss of China's mobile phones, Huawei has once again challenged the industry, releasing several new products in recent months in an attempt to return to the top five.
However, it is not easy to return to the top five, after all, the competitive environment is becoming more and more cruel, and it is still worth watching whether Huawei can achieve a successful recovery.
According to the China smartphone report for the first quarter of 2023 released by market research agency Counterpoint Research, Huawei's smartphone sales increased by 41%. Supply chain sources believe that Huawei's recent increase in mobile phone shipment targets does not mean a full recovery of the smartphone market, but it indicates that Huawei's mobile phone business is back on track.

Among them, the supply chain predicts that Huawei's folding screen mobile phones can reach up to 3 million shipments, accounting for 7.5% of Huawei's annual shipments.

In addition to raising this year's shipment target, the recent market share statistics on Huawei's Harmony OS also reflect Huawei's current strength and future possibilities.
Research agency Counterpoint recently released a mobile operating system market research report, statistics show that Huawei's Hongmeng operating system in the global market and the domestic market share has been in a steady upward trend, its fourth quarter of 2022 in the global market accounted for 2%, in the domestic market accounted for 8% share. In contrast, Android's share in the first quarter of this year was 72%, and Apple's iOS accounted for 20%.
From the above two news, it can be seen that Huawei's current shipments of smartphones and the number of users of the Hongmeng system are increasing, which shows that Huawei has strong resilience, and Chinese users have also given Huawei enough trust.
