CI Games studio HEXWORKS invites players to embark on an epic journey through a vast and sinister world when the highly anticipated dark fantasy action RPG Fallen Lord is released globally on Friday, October 13, 2023. A spiritual sequel to the 2014 original, the upcoming game is a full reboot of the series, with pre-orders available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S starting today.
The long-awaited launch day was announced to a wide range of players with a new four-minute trailer that finally showed fans the terrifying gameplay built by Unreal Engine 5. Featuring fast, challenging battles and massive boss fights, players will traverse parallel worlds of the living and the dead in their quest to overthrow the rule of the demon king Adyr.
The new trailer features music by the Iron Lady, the king of heavy metal, and viewers can expect a whole host of new reasons to "fear the dark," from three-headed dragons to fire giants spewing magma. For those who aren't bothered by these horrors, as of today, pre-orders for 3 versions of the game are open, including the Standard, Deluxe, and Collector's Edition, which features an impressive 10-inch Dark Crusader figurine.
