Pingtan Jinjing New City to create a high-quality urban model

On the 22nd, the reporter learned from the Jinjing Area Administration Bureau that as one of the 10 model projects in the urban construction quality improvement work of the experimental area this year, the construction tasks of the Jinjing New Town Construction Model Project have continuously made new breakthroughs, and are making great strides towards an efficient, intelligent, low-carbon, green and resilient high-quality new city.

Pingtan International Performing Arts Center

The Pingtan International Performing Arts Center, located in the Jinjing area, is currently nearing the end of various construction tasks. From a distance, the dark blue glass with the gray and white concrete façade presents a fusion of simplicity and modern beauty, with the surrounding greenery and road network, adding a lot of color to Jinjing New Town. The "behemoth" with a construction area of about 38,000 square meters includes a grand theater, a multi-purpose hall and a public cultural and artistic center with 5 screening halls. The completion and commissioning of the project will help build a more intelligent and digital Jinjing New City.

Pingtan International Performing Arts Center is one of the model projects for the construction of Jinjing New Town. According to the requirements of the "Fujian Provincial Urban and Rural Construction Quality Improvement Model Project Design and Construction Guidelines (Trial)", the Jinjing New Town Construction Model Project also includes 9 projects, including pingtan national fitness center and Jinjingwan talent (Taiwan professional) apartment.

"At present, we are accelerating the construction progress of 9 projects, of which pingtan national fitness center, Qilin kindergarten, Ruyi Lake and surrounding water system landscape projects have been completed and put into use; marine science and technology cultural center, lake ring road network, talent apartment, Tiandashan North Road and other projects, there will be a big breakthrough before the end of the year." Yang Changqing, director of the Urban and Rural Construction Service Center of the Jinjing Area Administration, said.

Yang Changqing introduced that at present, Jinjing New City is good in terms of infrastructure support and overall environmental governance, and the construction of Jinjing New City as a model project is to play a model demonstration role in the whole region and even the whole province, and to create a livable, intelligent and industrial emerging development of the new city image.

In addition to promoting the construction of Jinjing New Town, this year, Jinjing Area is also committed to creating a model project for the comprehensive treatment of Ruyi Lake and its surrounding water systems, including Ruyi Lake and its surrounding water system landscape project, traceability of sewage pipe network in Jinjing Area, No. 1 drainage canal project in Jinjing Bay Area, etc., and establishing a long-term management mechanism to create a model for water environment governance in the experimental area.

"For the treatment of the water environment, on the basis of the construction of the original drainage canal, we have carried out landscape improvement and optimization, and the overall water resource environment has been greatly improved." Yang Changqing said.
