Introduction to Yunyan Lake
[Rose] Yunyan Lake is located in the back mountain of Qiyun Mountain Scenic Area of Xiuning County, about 20 kilometers away from the county seat. Yunyan Lake is an artificial reservoir built in the 70s of last century, with a water surface area of 5 square kilometers, and the Tianqiao Rock on the lakeside is listed as the world's three major natural bridges together with the Rainbow Bridge in the United States and the Tiansheng Bridge in Guizhou Province. The scenic area is crisscrossed by rivers, ripples of water, and dense attractions on both sides, including Camel Peak, Lantern Peak, Zhan Dongtu Reading Platform and many cliff stone carvings.

Yunyan Lake Tour
After the bus arrived at the destination, we walked for a while to reach the dam of the "Yankeng Reservoir", and after getting on the dam, we could see the sparkling Yunyan Lake.

It is 300 meters away from Qukou Yankeng Village, so it is also known as Yankeng Reservoir. The upper reaches of the reservoir area are closely connected to Yuting Town in Yixian County.
Once at the lake, the Hu father and son each drove us in a motor boat to the peninsula in the lake. Stone Bridge Rock
After sending us to the island, Xiao Hu returned to pick up our teammates, and before leaving, he specially told us that the stone carvings on the island are all protected cultural relics and need to be protected.
Jumping from the boat to the island, the first thing you face is the Danxia landscape that is similar to Qiyun Mountain. If you look closely, you can also see the ripples of water waves reflected on the cliff wall. Except for our group, there are no other tourists on the island, which is a very peaceful place.
A group of people walked along the path for a while, and after crossing a small slope, the rainbow-like "Flyover Rock" broke into our eyes. I have to admire the magic of nature.

Stone Bridge Rock: It is one of the three natural stone arch bridges in the world. The whole mountain spans both sides, the middle is empty, like a rainbow flying in the sky, from east to west in the shape of a half-moon, so it is also known as "Tianqiao Rock". The span of the bridge is 32 meters, the width is 8 meters, the dome height is 26 meters, and the entire bridge is 90 meters long.

After leaving Flyover Rock, we returned to the disembarkation point from the "official road" with steps, where we returned to the previous pit reservoir after boarding.
