The mountain gate of Zhongtai Zen Temple is the entrance to the hall of this modern mansion, and the entrance gate is also Maitreya Buddha. He was always smiling, laughing at the ridiculous people of the world, and he sat down with a cloth bag filled with troubles. He put down the cloth bag and gave up all his troubles. He is the Buddha of the future, and he gives us guidance for the future by "letting go".
Behind him was Vedor, who was at the entrance to the hall with Vedo. In the hall are the four heavenly kings, and one floor up the stairs in the hall is the Daxiong Treasure Hall, and in the lotus throne inside sits the incomparably bright Buddha Shakyamuni. On the mainland, Maitreya Buddha, the four heavenly kings, and the Buddha are to be worshiped in three halls. But at Zhongtai Zen Temple, a hall that climbed up the stairs made them all in one go.
The four heavenly kings of Nakataizen Temple are different from other temples in that they are tall. It is 12 meters tall and weighs 100 tons, and is used as a pillar for the hall, topping the hall and the floors above, and the second is multi-faceted. Each Heavenly King has the faces of three other Heavenly Kings in addition to his own face, indicating that one Heavenly King has the merits of the four Heavenly Kings.
At the bottom of the hall is Shakyamuni. He dismissed the monks and at the moment only allowed His Holiness Kaye and Ananda to attend. He sat cross-legged on a lotus flower, radiant, and took a picture with him, the Buddha light was heartwarming, and the design of this light won the 20th International Lighting Design Award. The entire temple won the 23rd Taiwan Architecture Award.
There is a partial "cave" on each side of the hall of the Daxiong Treasure Hall, which enshrines Dharma, the founder of Zen China, and Guan Wu Yunchang. The Buddhist family in Taiwan tolerated Guan Gong, who was originally a mortal, and also tolerated Taoism. Taoism is a religion native to China, and when the Japanese occupied Taiwan, they banned Taoism in order to make Taiwanese forget their ancestors. At this time, it was the temple of the Buddhist family that took in the Taoists, placed the tablets of the Dao ancestors and immortals in the temple, and the Taoists were able to settle in the temple. Taiwanese people can visit the three Qing ancestors while paying homage to the Buddha. China's culture has endured.
The most special place of Zhongtai Zen Temple, and perhaps not accustomed to many pilgrims, is to enter the Daxiong Treasure Hall, there is no cigarette smoke, and you can't see the scene of everyone holding incense in the traditional temple. In order to avoid damage to the air and the building, Zhongtai Temple does not allow incense, tourists can use some flowers and the like to offer Buddha, the flowers for the Buddha are placed in a small porcelain dish, so it is particularly elegant and chic. Of course, the faithful are still clasped together here, kneeling and prostrating.
The temple is not only equipped with advanced facilities, but also equipped with sightseeing elevators, and the outbuildings are self-contained and grand in scale, and some people call it the "most luxurious and modern temple" in the world.
