Red Network Moment News, May 19 (Correspondent Xiao Yaxiang, Li Hailong, Tang Yan, Tang Jiayi) On May 19, the launching ceremony of the 2023 China Tourism Day activities in Xintian County and the "Tracing the Millennium Courtyard - Reminiscing the Red Mark" research activity was held in the Longjia Compound. Li Hui, member of the Standing Committee of the county party committee and director of the office of the county party committee, presented the flag for this study, and Xiao Yafei, member of the standing committee of the county party committee and director of the propaganda department, attended.
Hosted by Xintian County Education Bureau, Xintian County Culture, Tourism, Radio, Television and Sports Bureau, and organized by Hunan Juye Cultural Tourism Development Co., Ltd., Xintian County Tourism Development Service Center and other units, this event takes the opportunity of study tourism to strive to create a "leisure and health exploration resort" and empower the development of Xintian tourism.
At the launching ceremony, programs with unique local characteristics, such as the waist drum performance, dance "Jasmine Fragrance" and "Long March Suite of Songs" were staged one after another, vividly demonstrating the beauty of Xintian's history and humanities and the power of red genes. In the subsequent research activities, more than 600 teachers and students walked into the Longjia Courtyard, a national 4A-level scenic spot, and the former site of the National 3A-level Scenic Area Xiaoyuan Conference, to immerse themselves in the charm of traditional culture and red culture.
The Longjia Courtyard was built by the descendants of Long Bogao of the Eastern Han Lingling Tomb, which has a history of thousands of years and has been rated as "National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit", "Chinese Historical and Cultural Village", "Chinese Traditional Village", and known as "Living Fossils of Chinese Traditional Villages". Under the guidance of docents and instructors, the students toured the ancient buildings, listened to the history of the millennium compound, appreciated the culture of Yinglian, and experienced cultural projects such as bamboo weaving crafts, chess, and wonderful brush flowers.
At the former site of the Xiaoyuan Conference, teachers and students carried out activities such as singing red songs, listening to red stories, and retracing the Long March Road, immersed themselves in the historical significance of the meeting held by the Red Sixth Army in Xiaoyuan Village, as well as the heroic deeds and eternal Long March spirit left by the Red Army soldiers in Xintian.
Research and practical education is a new way to strengthen the combination of classroom and off-campus practice and comprehensively implement quality education. In recent years, relying on the cultural tourism resources of antique, red and green, Xintian County has focused on building a cultural tourism brand with local characteristics, through scenic spots such as the Longjia Courtyard, the former site of Xiaoyuan Conference, Tan Wenxi Ancient Village, and Jiang Xianyun's former residence, to build a complex functional place integrating multiple elements such as research, exhibition, reading, accommodation and farming experience, and develop research courses on red culture, humanistic cultivation, labor education and other themes in accordance with local conditions, so as to meet the needs of students for "seeking novelty, curiosity, knowledge and pleasure", and guide the majority of villagers to do well The new path of "tourism + agriculture + research" has made the beautiful countryside truly beautiful, rich and alive, and has driven the rapid development of the county's cultural tourism industry.
