Aquino III was born in 1960 and was the only son of the country's late former President, Mrs. Aquino. In 1981, he graduated from the Department of Economics at ateneo de Manila, where another Philippine president, Arroyo, was a professor.

Aquino III's father, Aquino, was assassinated at the airport in 1983 when Aquino III's father, Aquino III, returned to the Philippines from the United States and was assassinated. His mother, Mrs. Aquino, inherited her deceased husband's legacy, and three years later launched the "People's Power" to overthrow Marcos and win the election, becoming the country's first female president, and then died of cancer, and the whole country mourned. During Mrs. Aquino's presidency, there was a bloody mutiny in the Philippines, and Aquino III was attacked, shot 5 times but could not die, and a bullet remained in the neck for a long time.

Aquino III served as a member of the House of Representatives for nine consecutive years, and since 2006 he has been vice-chairman of the Liberal Party before being elected to the Senate. In 2010, the Philippines held presidential elections, and on June 30, Aquino III held a swearing-in ceremony in Manila, the capital, to become the 15th president of the Philippines.

Philippine media said that Aquino III's rise to power as president was partly based on the impact of his mother's death, and people's support and affection for Mrs. Aquino was transferred to him.

During his tenure, Aquino III pursued a pro-American line and clashed fiercely with his neighbors over disputes in the South China Sea, triggering diplomatic relations and regional tensions.
