Chen Baochen (1848-1935), character Boqian. Han nationality, a native of Luozhou, Fujian County. Late Qing Dynasty minister, scholar. In 1909, Chen Baochen was summoned to Beijing and served as the chief minister of the Lixueguan. In 1911, Chen Baochen served as the teacher of Emperor Puyi of Xuantong and gave the Forbidden City a horseback ride. On February 12, 1912, when the Qing Emperor abdicated the throne, Chen still followed Puyi and was ordered to revise the "Record of Dezong". In October of the thirteenth year of the Republic of China (1924), when Pu Yi was expelled from the Forbidden City, Pu Yi saw Chen Baochen and cried loudly: "I have no face to see my ancestors!" ”

Liang Dingfen (1859-1919), late Qing dynasty scholar and bibliophile, was a native of Panyu, Guangdong. Guangxu entered the ranks for six years and was given the title of editor. He has served as a prefect, an inspector, and a political envoy, and he was famous for impeaching Li Hongzhang. Later, he was hired by Zhang Zhidong to lecture on Guangdong Guangya Academy and Jiangsu Zhongshan Academy, and was the main writer of Changyan News. The poems are many generous and cynical works, and together with Luo Weixi and others, they are called the "Four Modern Families of Lingnan".

Yuan Lizhun (1877~1935), character Juesheng, number Zhongzhou, don't sign fear of heights and cold zhaisheng. A native of Wujin County (present-day Changzhou City). Calligrapher. In the twenty-fourth year of Guangxu (1898), he was appointed as an editor of the Hanlin Academy, and was ordered to walk in the South Study. He sympathized with Kang Youwei's reform of the restoration. In the 28th year of Guangxu, he served as the supervisor of the Beijing Normal University. Guangxu was responsible for the establishment of the Industrial School (the predecessor of the School of Engineering of Peking University) in the 31st year and served as superintendent. During this period, he served as an examiner for the Kachen Branch Examination.
Xinhua Gate was originally the Baoyue Building built by Qianlong for Concubine Xiang, and after Yuan Shikai took Zhongnanhai as the presidential palace, he rebuilt the Baoyue Tower into the main gate of Zhongnanhai and renamed Xinhuamen. The Xinhuamen plaque was written in the spring of 1914. The Xinhuamen plaque is 1.6 meters wide and 0.64 meters high, with a red background framed with gold grass flowers, and the book body is an authentic pavilion body, majestic and powerful.
