Known for their beautiful colours and shapes, butterflyfish live in areas of abundant coral reefs and belong to a family of marine fish in warm temperate waters. The body color of butterflyfish changes with growth, and they also have something in common, and they are good at "camouflage". Many juveniles have an eye-like patch called a "false eye" near the body where the tail joins, while the real eye is disguised by a black color. This is a blindfold for butterflyfish to trick enemies into mistaking their tails for their heads. Its purpose is to deceive predators into mistaking their tails for head attacks and to gain a chance to escape.
