Stevens Austin is a highly trained animal expert who has spent his life working with dangerous animals and knows how to keep them safe and self-contained. Prior to that, he was a photographer who traveled the world for more than a decade from his native South Africa to photograph some of the world's rarest and deadliest creatures. The film will tell the story of a rare animal he saw in his second hometown of southwestern Africa, the Namibia region, the desert elephant. The elephant exists in only two parts of the world: the Sahara Desert and the Namibian Desert, of which Namibia is one. There were still 3,500 desert elephants about a century ago, but less than 800 are still alive due to war, illegal hunting, and other reasons.
