At a border station in Kyrgyzstan's Naryn region on the border with China, Kyrgyzstan border fighters have been plagued by water shortages for years. In September 2022, the expert team of China Railway First Survey and Design Institute, which is carrying out the feasibility study of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Ukraine railway, used the equipment in their hands to drill a new well for the Kyrgyzstan border defense station, which was 85 meters deep to solve the draft problem of Kyrgyzstan's border fighters for many years. In order to commemorate the friendship between the two peoples, Kyrgyzstan border guards stood next to the well and erected a stone monument "China-Kyrgyzstan Friendship Well" to record the Sino-Kyrgyz friendship inherited by this well.
