Chen Cuilong (1857-1948), a native of Guizhu (now Guiyang), was an official who went through the Tongzhi, Guangxu, and Xuantong dynasties, successively served as the governor of Yin, Henan, and Jiangsu in Shuntianfu, the governor of Sichuan and Zhizhi, and the minister of Beiyang, who resigned from office in 1912 and retired to Shanghai.
