The medical scientist Dermophis Donaldtrumpi has discovered an ineptile amphibian in the tropics that walks with a limp, blind, slimy, and head-to-tail. He called it "caecilians," which means "blind" in Latin.

"Caecilians" are one of 12 unnamed species from Latin America. On December 8, 2018, their naming rights were auctioned off as part of a fundraising campaign by the conservation group Rainforest Trust.

Envirobuild, a British building materials supply company, won the right to name the slimy bug. The company paid $25,000 for it, the highest price ever paid at auction.

Subsequently, "Environmental Construction" announced that this newly discovered slimy blind insect was called "Trump".

Why is this slimy bug named "Trump"? The representative of Environmental Construction said: "They have a lot in common. ”

"This worm's eyes can only distinguish between light and darkness, and is a blind worm; although Trump is not blind, he is blind to the evidence of global warming, how is it different from a blind man?"

Trump said on Twitter that climate change is a prank created by China to reduce the competitiveness of the United States. Although Trump recently acknowledged on CBS that climate change is indeed happening, he still questions whether the United States is responsible.

The Environmental Construction representative said in a statement that Environmental Construction named the newly discovered bug "Trump" in order to urge Trump to deliver on the U.S. commitment to environmental issues.

Coincidentally, a moth is also named after Trump, which is the "Trump moth"

When Canadian biologist Vazrick Nazari discovered a new species of tiny moths, the resemblance of the insect's yellow-white moth crown to Trump's unique hair was astounding, and he immediately had the idea of naming the moth Trump.

In January 2017, Nazari wrote in his A Review of Neopalpa Donaldtrumpi: "The reason for choosing to name this newly discovered moth 'Trump' is to increase public attention and continue to protect America's fragile insect habitat." ”

The moth's habitat extends from Southern California to Mexico as Trump builds a border wall that will be split in two. It can be seen that Nazary named the moth after Trump in the hope of attracting attention to vulnerable species and ecosystems.
