Farmers spray pesticides to control the two-point nocturnal moth
The two-point nocturnal moth is a new pest that harms corn, mainly drilling the roots of corn seedlings or cutting off the shallow surface roots, and its larvae have light avoidance and generally survive in the roots of corn or moist soil crevices.
The main control measures of the nocturnal moth are to remove the mulch such as wheat straw and weeds around the corn plant and eradicate the hidden environment. The second is to poison the bait. Use 4 to 5 kg of stir-fried wheat bran, add a small amount of water, add 48% chlorpyrifos emulsion or 90% crystalline insects to mix into poisonous bait, and sprinkle it on the edge of corn seedlings in the evening. The third is to sprinkle granules or poisonous soil. With 5% octyl thion granules, mix with fine sand, sprinkle on the edge of corn seedlings in the morning and row hoe. The fourth is to spray corn rhizomes with medicament. Spray corn rhizomes with 48% chlorpyrifos emulsion or 4.5% high-performance cypermethrin emulsion.
